We are all speculating on this good coach coming and doing great things or better things and so forth. I think we need to look at it the other way around. We have had several "good" coaches thru here, Houck, Cam(OC), Capers, Dave Wannstadt(he was good at what he did where he was before here), and so on. But none of them did "good" here, because of wrong chemistry, wrong talent, and so on. Yes we would like to have Garrett, or this person or whoever because of the amazing job they did at Dallas or whereever they were this year. BUT, look at the environment, the chemistry, other coaches, talent and so on around them. It takes all these elements to make a good coach. We want this guy because he did this over there or this one for what he did there....but you can't go on that, unless you bring everything that supported him with him. Example..Jimmy Johnson at dallas, how many super bowls? great coach there and a supporting cast and talent, including wanny, AND a good chemistry/environment. That I think is the key. Not just bringing in Jo Jo, because he was awesome with so and so. I think and hope that is what BP is looking at and doing. We can bring Bellichick here and if it is not the right setting and all for a Bellichick person, he won't do well at all. And I think that has been our problem over these last years...Nick Saban great coach, let's get him, LOUSY coach in these circumstances that don't suit him. It's ok to see Sparano or whoever and see how good he is where he is and want him here...but, but, you need to look at everything in context...WHY is he good? What is he surrounded with, what talent, what coaches, what chemistry and so on. You can bring him here and he will be a flop unless he comes into a "Sparano" type situation/environment...things have to be compatible. I hope this made sense. We can't just pick so and so from this team and so and so from that and so on. we need to look at all the aspects around our main person and try and duplicate that....
