Im on the west coast and I made plans after the game assuming it was at 10 am here but I fu**ed that one up haha but Im just curious, any reason?
Dolphin organization made not starting at 1 a priority. Thought it would get more fans to attend , one of many decisions that can be viewed as questionable.
Ross considers the Dolphins such a juggernaut that he felt all 1pm starts would give the team an unfair advantage.
While its been an advantage for the team on the field though? I think fans would rather sit through the heat and let the team have an advantage on the field then not. Although not sure since the bubble was built if the great advantage is still all that great. I think the main reason Ross wanted the time change was to get more fans on the west coast. Allows the west coast to see the game at a reasonable time.
Ross is a jerkoff and he is going to destroy this franchise.I have a fear this team if it doesn't start to win this idiot is going to sell it and who knows if the new owner keeps it in miami.
B/c fans ***** that the reason they don't go to games is b/c it's too hot and humid. So he requested a little later start so fans don't ***** about it. But then fans just turn around and ***** about it not being at 1pm. Our fans need to go to the games or shut the **** up...
man, seriously. I have live in PA and totally have the money for tix but can't obviously. Ungrateful SOB's
Ross doesn't seem to understand that the product on the field dictates the fan following, not the time of day. I've sweated with no complaints as we are beating a team....I'm sure I'm not alone. My message to Ross: Put a better product on the field and the time of the game won't matter and perhaps it even is an advantage to the team...of course he can't figure that out, can he ??
The way our defense looked out there last week, thank God that we are not playing at the hottest, humid part of the day! Our guys are not conditioned as well as they have been in the past.
Exactly. I might be a little more upset if these hot home games were an advantage for Miami but I haven't seen that in the recent past.
It used to be that 1:00 pm starts were an advantage for the Dolphins in September and early October when they played at home. The heat was suppose to wear down the opponent. Based on how out of condition many of the players on defense appeared Moanday night. It is probably a good idea that the Dolphins play later today. It shouldn't be as hot with a 4:15 start as it would be with a 1:00 pm start. Of course it will be hotter than it was for the 7:00 pm start on Monday. So hopefully the Dolphins spent the week getting into better condition.
Lose the heat advantage but gain an actual home field advantage if more fans do showed up because of it.
