For the regular season (excluding that one playoff game), Gase's home record is 16-8 and his away record is 7-17. Average points scored at home is 23.08, average points allowed at home is 22.42, average points scored away is 17.04 and average points allowed away is 27.83.

So average point discrepancy at home was +0.66 while it was -10.79 away.

I think so. I can't confirm this without writing an extra program, but using this site (which one has to be careful of because they mix playoffs into their stats and I've found errors in their stats on occasion):
    https://www.teamrankings.com/nfl/stat/average-scoring-margin?date=2018-02-05

the worst over last 3 years is the Dolphins followed by the Jets, Cleveland, SF and Oakland.

For whatever reason, Gase's biggest failure came in away Prime Time games. Here are the scores in his three years as HC.

    L 7-22 @ Cincinatti
    W 34-13 @ Jets
    L 0-40 @ Baltimore
    L 21-45 @ Carolina
    L 23-42 @ Houston

So, that's a combined score of 85-162, which is of course awful. And if you take away the game vs a Jets team that was basically tanking for draft position at that point and starting a third string QB, its 51-149. And those numbers have basically formed the national perception of the team, because those are the games non-Dolphins fans have watched.

Gase was 3-3 in 4pm road starts, with all three wins coming in Southern California, in games where the offense didn't really show up and the defense made some big plays.

And then just 3-10 in 1pm road starts, with the wins being the wild OT game vs Buffalo in 2016, the huge comeback at Atlanta in 2017, and the game at the Jets early last season where the defense forced three huge turnovers in their own territory. But they were 1-7 in the last eight such games, with a combined score of 124-248. The most the offense scored in those last eight was 20.
