http://www.sondrak.com/ I "think" IPods have a sort of solid state memory, not a memory chip and certainly no hard drive, either way though, take a bullet and keep on ticking, that is impressive to me at least.
Thats a great story,it is cool he is getting a new Ipod sent to him. I never knew they were that tough, one of my friends already broke his old Ipod nano by dropping it. Maybe the newer Ipod classics are more tough. I just bought an Ipod touch not too long ago and I hope it is sturdy also, but it seems like I hear the screen can crack easily. Anyway that was a great story to read.
that story scares the poop out of me.visions of him forgetting his gun in the hum-v because he's too busy looking for a song he downloaded to his i-pod the night before race through my head.hope he pays better attention to the grenade he has.today he drops his i-pod..tommorow he fumbles the grenade.all worry aside my go player is ram tough.i'd hate to see this kid shot by enemy fire because he's searching his playlist and not paying attention to the constant threat around him.
Try this case out http://store.apple.com/us/product/T...e=MTY1NDA4Mg&mco=MTA4NjEwMDU&p=1&s=topSellers I have one and dropped my touch from about 5 feet onto concrete and nothing. I got mine off ebay a heck of alot cheaper then that, but I would pay $50 for this case if I had to. Also have one for my nano. great product.
