    They're not too bad if you look at the more as widgets than apps. Calendar sees some updates in iOS 5, so even though it's not as powerful as Calvetica, it's still usable.

    By the way, I can vouch that iOS 5 is a pretty big update, having used it since last Tuesday. iCloud is pretty handy, though there are some hiccups: for example, because I'm not using 10.7.2, I don't have iCloud on my Mac, so I wound up with duplicated calendars—those synced from my Mac, and those my iPad and iPhone uploaded to iCloud. Also, even though apps will download to every eligible device once you purchase them from one device, app updates have to be downloaded individually; they won't push out to all devices if updated on one device.
