And they wonder why we question what they say about climate change.:pity:

I think the MSM is finally feeling a bit embarrased after all these years. Over the last few months, we are finally starting to see at lesat SOME things from the major news outlets that myself and alot of others have been saying for years, but were then ignored.

As I've posted here time and time again, this is really nothing new. What's new is that the world's media may finally be getting sick of it. The IPCC is finally taking a long overdue beating as of late.

Here is an ironic blunder from a few months ago.

Official IPCC Report uses non-reviewed graph from Wikipedia

    http://wattsupwiththat.com/2009/09/...onymous-wikipedia-author-for-official-report/

    But wait.......there's more.

IPCC Scientists 'acknowledge there was inconsistency and flawed writing' in extinction section

    http://www.climatedepot.com/a/4974/...ency-and-flawed-writing-in-extinction-section

And of course the head of the IPCC, Rajendra Pachauri, is riddled with scandal.

    http://indiatoday.intoday.in/site/S...spot+as+climategate+hits+TERI.html?complete=1

The great thing about Climategate and Climategate II now at NASA and NOAA, is that it's causing more and more people to REALLY look into the science and see for themselves, rather than taking the UN's and media's word for it.

By the way, this article was very kind and tried to make excuses. This quote craked me up:

 Bull**** It was an IPCC Lead author, but a skeptical one, who spoke up 4 years ago. The year before it's 2007 publication. Funny how they don't mention him in that article.

    So here ya go:

Scientist warned glacier forecast was wrong

This crap is just the gift that keeps on giving.

And the hits just keep on coming!

One has to really wonder if the time, effort, and money wasted on bogus studies of the end of the world rather than ways to solve the problems that we face today there would be no problem of lack of Capital thus the problems would be no more. Sad!

The original date was 2035. All they did was transpose the 0 and 3. Honest mistake. So sorry, won't happen again. :shifty:

Combine this with the leaked CRU emails, and it's clear that global warming is the largest hoax in the history of science, and a willing campaign of deception of global populace by an isolated political elite over a three decade span. Piltdown Man is old hat.

Glaciers are melting. That is indisputable.

Mismanaging data is unforgivable, IMO but don't let it distract from the fact that glaciers are friggin' melting and that does not happen in a world that is has stable or lowering temperatures.

Some glaciers, such as the western Himalayan glaciers, California glaciers, and some in South America are growing. Some glaciers, such as those in Greenland, are shrinking. Total worldwide glacier coverage is actually increasing.

Glaciers are not static, just like the rest of the planet. They shrink and grow and change location over time. Nothing we can do about it.

What has occurred is not data mismanagement. It is data fabrication. "Scientists" were literally making the numbers up in order to achieve a predetermined political outcome.

There is no global warming. There are no melting Himalayan glaciers.

Indeed, because global temperatures are in decline, glacier coverage is increasing in the aggregate.

Update: Osama bin Laden believes in global warming.

With each passing audio tape, bin Laden sounds more and more like a rank and file leftist wacko. Blame Bush? Check. Lament Kyoto? Check. Praise Chomsky? Check.

(I'd post this in the pofo if I still had access, but I don't, so it goes in the next best place.)

You have not posted any data that changes my opinion.

The majority of glaciers are retreating

    Global temperatures are rising

The data was not fabricated (do a search of this forum for an explanation)

Celtkin, comeon man, where are the intervening photos?

Some of those pictures have a spread of 70yrs in them, and that time span also includes the colder than average period in the 70's are we to then believe that when it was colder, of course the glaciers shrunk as well?

I posted plenty of links and data the last time we talked about this, all those many months ago. Those links were collectively dismissed as "pseudo-science."

In the intervening period between then and now, we have the East Anglia emails and the IPCC/Himalayan fraud admissions. The idea that the planet is warming is a hoax spanning three decades, the greatest fraud in the history of science.

Piltdown Man is spinning in his grave.

Intervening photos that show the decline of ice? How would that be helpful?

There is still no evidence to depute the fact that many of the worlds glaciers are melting.

    Let's try an experiment.

Take an ice tray from your freezer and let it sit on your porch over night and leave another in the freezer.

    Which would expect to melt?
