The whole "lets compair Henne to ........... (whom ever)" for the sake of A. making us feel better about B. deflecting from his mistakes and or C. reaching for straws because we like him is imvho self defeating.

Personally I don't give a cow chip in a hog waller about how good or bad Sanchez is, with respect to all the Jets fans on board this forum! He ain't playing for my team so to hell with him! And lets not point to Peyton Mannings first 20 whatever games as something to chear about for Henne, unless of course you are saying that Henne is the next coming of said Manning, if so I've got some land on Mars to sell you cheap!

Some keep bringing up Henning as a whipping post when I don't know of one person on this or anyother board who will defend keeping him past game #16 this year! 99% of us have wanted him gone since game #1 this year! Can we all agree FIRE HENNING and just move on!!??!!

So the real brass tack is What are Henne's good and bad points?

    or better:

There are some very telling numbers here which give us a picture of what henne should and should not be allowed to do if we are to win with him under center!

One glaring point here as he progresses from right to left his TD to INT amount gets worst and crosses the line where by the time he is throwing to the far left he is 9 TDs to 16 INTs. His best Quarters are the second and third. And so on! More INTs outside the hash marks than inside.

I'm sure the gurus, GM's, and Pro's on board can take this further, so what say you, people?

Why his numbers are that much worse ahead than behind makes no sense. No sense at all in fact.

Listen Cleveland was terrible no doubt, but if you look at the whole picture before Cleveland much of Henne's performances were caused by Henning's stupidity. If better play calling had gone on before that we'd look at this game as if it was a blip. Let's see if he can respond Sunday and then if he does against Buffalo as well. I just doubt that he can't see the field well enough to see a wide open Fasano in front of him. He just goes between gunslinger mode and Checkdown Chad mode.

He's also the best option we have for next year so let's see what we can do with him. I want to see that setup the Dolphins went with against Tennessee where they would go out in a spread with Cobbs. You can run of that, that I'm sure of.

I think his numbers are the way they are becaused he is being mis-managed thus I'm not so sure that this FO/offensive coaching staff have the right people teaching or game planing for Henne so that he can be the best he can be! Yet it also shows, imho, that he is making his share of STUPID plays and throws and has trouble seeing what is in front of him!!

I really do think Gailey if he had a talented team as an OC could do something special. He really does get something out of some terribly underwhelming teams. Fitzpatrick suddenly turns into a solid QB with that **** OL, decent running backs, and a young WR with one deep threat? He's doing pretty well all things considered. Say what you will about Jay Fiedler but Norv Turner with a much stronger offense in 2002 didn't do all that much better with than Gailey with much less talent.

Only one thing I care about this weekend: seeing how Henne does against complicated zone schemes, zone blitzes and man/zone combo.

The boy needs to start being able to know what he's looking at, anticipate holes before the receiver is already waiting in them, and not double clutch the ball because he's unsure.

Specifically vs defensive looks that incorporate zone in the secondary and LB's.

Im bored of this Sanchez V Henne crud. If Henne was any good it would be a Henne Vs Brady topic. Instead weve got a constant discussion on 2 QB's who both show weaknesses and are not as good as advertised. I couldnt care less about Sanchez. Only QB i follow is the Dolphin one.
