If things go as expected in this draft, there will be only five schools that have produced a first round draft pick in each of the past three years: Alabama (Marcel Dareus, Julio Jones, James Carpenter, Mark Ingram, Trent Richardson, Mark Barron, Dre Kirkpatrick, Donta Hightower, Dee Milliner, Chance Warmack, Jessie Williams) LSU (Patrick Peterson, Morris Claiborne, Michael Brockers, Barkevious Mingo) Texas A&M (Von Miller, Ryan Tannehill, Luke Joeckle, Damontre Moore) North Carolina (Robert Quinn, Quentin Coples, Jonathan Cooper) Mississippi State (Derek Sherrod, Fletcher Cox, Johnthan Banks) A few things. 1. This is neither here nor there concerning the Miami Dolphins. 2. I am obviously throwing this tidbit out to showcase my Mississippi State Bulldogs, who have come a long way as a football program under Dan Mullen. 3. You can see why Alabama is the dominant college football team and will remain so as long as Nick Saban is there. 4. It really sucks to be in the SEC West (Alabama, LSU, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State all in the same division).
Well, it really is for me pretty much why I rarely watch college ball KB It's now a sort of NFL bush league, and it's blatant, for me, just no longer really enjoy it.
Last year's class really killed UF, because Florida had something insane like 8 between 2007-2011. This year they will likely have 2 drafted in the 1st round. At least the Seminole might have 2!
Didn't Ole Miss get the #1 and #7 high school recruits this year? (Sorry KB) Glad to see Miss State really developing. Out here on the west coast, a program I think has been gradually ascending in San Diego State.
