The series will be co-produced between Marvel, ABC, and IMAX—and in a strange move, will sort of still be a movie event for Marvel next year. The first two episodes of the show will premiere worldwide across IMAX-compatible theaters with a two week exclusivity window, before airing on ABC in the fall of 2017 as a weekly series. According to sources speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, The Inhumans show’s first season will run for eight episodes, and the series is not considered a direct spinoff of the events of Agents of SHIELD.

I don't know if they'll be able to do this as a TV show but I will be tuning int to find out.

That blows. Its not shocking, given what we already knew, but I hate it. I was so worked up for the actors and characters from Shield to get their own movie, especially if it was led by Daisy/Sky. As a devoted fan of both the series and the movies, it feels like they pulled a fast one on us. I'll likely boycott it.

I'm not a huge fan of Agents Of Shield. I've been meaning to give it another shot but the first season was just so cheesy to me. Did you read the comics?

No, I honestly haven't been into comics since the 90s, and back then it was mostly X-Men.

I liked the show a lot in the first year, thought it dipped a bit in the second, but then took a HUGE step forward in the third. So far this season has gone in a different direction, but they're finding their way. I'm not like most people, because I don't/can't watch shows that are online or premium channels, but its absolutely one of my favorite shows on TV. I'm just deeply hurt that Marvel has stepped way back from the show being part of the movies' universe.

It has gotten better in the 3rd season. I'm behind in catching up, but mainly because I had to catch up on Daredevil which is a 100x better show than Agents of Shield
