Do you think it is important for new players (or veteran players) to look into and know a bit about the history of the team they are on? Obviously knowing your place in the system and keeping yourself in football shape should be top priority but I think each player knowing a little bit about the franchise they are a part of is important.

    Discuss.

    Good topic.
I think they should be tested like US immigrants applying for citizenship!! :salute: I think you've gotta learn to love, know, and respect the franchise you're about to play for. Players should know who were the past greats at their respective position with whom they'll be compared. It should be a rookie initiation.

After all, many normal jobs/careers require you to know about the company during your training period.... so why should a $30million football player be treated any differently.

They HAVE to know about the killer B's and AJ Duhe!!!!
