If meant it in a malicious way then I agree with you. I just don't think he did or none of his black teammates and some white teammates wouldve openly supported him. So Im not defending what he said, unless it was chalked up as you said meat head jock talk. Even then im not defending as much as I am saying I don't think that particular message he left deserves as much attention as it gets. Without context it is certainly not cool or acceptable and really not funny either by any means. But the fact it was "accepted" right or wrong suggests to me that it was a small brick in the bullying wall. I guess my point is, that comment was like the 6th thing wrong with Richie Incgnito, the groping of the girl for example to me is a much worse thing to do.
