In Hindsight do you still trade Marshall for Eggnew and a 3rd rounder?

We were on all the lists of good teams earlier in the year.

The point is you've been crying like a little ***** since the off season that we were the worst team ever, when we were playing good and winning you sorry *** wasn't here, because you are THAT guy.

And if Marshall's 5 extra TDs would have had won those games we'd be one of the better teams in league right now. Either understand the crap you post or piss off, i don't care.

And you jumped in here attacking me for no damn reason so seriously, STFU.

Na, it's not reading comprehension. It's your silly *** trying to play both sides of a fence. You were all over Marshall having only 6 Td's! All the **** over it. Now your trying to tell us that we don't miss him because Hartline is right about where Marshall was last season. Except he aint even close and all that talk about Hartlines great game earlier this season has played out to see that Marshall is totally killing him in every single catagory. Marshall is ten times the Wr that Hartline is, and your comprehension of it is silly.

Dear god. I'm not trying to play both sides of anything. I've been consistent since the off season. Marshall sucked HERE. Hartline has done about the same. Difference is, he doesn't cost as much nor cause problems. That's why we don't miss Marshall. We get virtually the same production for virtually the same team impact, with less headaches and cost. We need more than that, but we needed a number when Marshall was here , cause he damn sure didn't play like one while HERE.

Your problem is you think Marshall produced here like he did with Cutler. He didn't. He had two years where he consistently did the same thing...and that thing was suck for a #1.

Dear Jesus, you have played both sides. No one is saying you think Hartline the best Wr in the whole wide world. But I am saying you're using an argument of Td's on both sides to support yourself.

Guess what? Marshall went to the freaking pro bowl as a Miami Dolphin. He far from sucked. We miss a player of Brandon Marshall's caliber big time. I, once again, can't stand Marshall's antics, and most everyone who is saying we miss him, are saying a player like him because not to many people have said Marshall should never have been traded. Most are saying, fine, trade one of the best Wr's, but replace him with something nearly as good. That would not be Brian Hartline!

Look, someone can offer you $1 or $6 to eat dog ****. You choose $6 and eat the dog ****. I choose neither and I don't see much difference between the offers. Its fine you don't understand that. What's not ok is telling me I'm playing anything. I'm not. Marshall sucked because his TD totals were low. Hartline sucks because his TD totals are even lower. But the difference at those low TD levels are meaningless, because they both suck for a #1. I'm not contradicting anything. Those thoughts are not mutually exclusive from one another. Maybe you just lack the ability to think past 6>1?

  6. Ozzy

There you go again! Everyone is a dumbass but you! And yes, you are contridicting yourself. You chose to accept the dollar and ate the dog ****. You've said it over and over that you see it as a better option to have Hartline's season because he is cheaper.

The one thing that you clearly do not comprehend though, is that I took 6 dollars, and what I ate wasn't ****. It was caviar! So while you put a pile of **** in your mouth for a damned dollar, I put 6 bucks in my pocket and had a delicacy. The only thing was, was I had to eat it in a rat infested restaurant.

and whats scarier is in another thread Ireland is quoted as thinking he's pretty good at drafting. Such a delusional ****.

Did you miss the tread where Ireland says we are not going after F'As but concentrating on the draft ? That money, as some here have speculated will be used to resign players like Long, Hartline & others that have expiring contracts.

I'm expecting to see basically the same team here next year with a few new faces via the draft.

Yep more of the same.....Ireland is going to force the players he drafted on us because he is convinced because he drafted them, they aren't as bas as they really are. Remember the quote from that thread....he thinks he's good at the draft - who cares that his record says otherwise - we're being impatient apparently from his viewpoint. Who cares that 6 or 7 teams that were worse than us have surpassed us since he's been here - we are just impatient bastards.

We are ****ed until this POS is gone.

yeah from what I remember there was a night club incident shortly after Philbin arrived and it was quickly done, within a day or two of that he was gone. I think he was happy with the Philbin hire because he knew it would probably mean even more passing and that would mean his stats grow.

That is not the only thing that separates the two. More catches, More Yards, and a Pro Bowl appearance separate them also.

You have to stop doing that Hartline vs. Marshall comparison. They are not close.

I even showed you how Marshall's usage last year is nearly identical to Hartlines this year, so you can't use the "they throw to him all the time" excuse.

Everyone? I believe I was talking to just you.

Caviar? LOL. What ever you need to tell yourself, Sport.

I'm not saying I prefer Hartline. I'm saying Hartline is producing near the level of Marshall, therefore we aren't missing Marshall's production. I don't want either one to be our #1 WR. As a #2, yes I prefer Hartline, because we all know Marshall wouldn't accept being a #2.

By any actual significance that is all the separates 2011 Marshall & 2012 Hartline.

I pointed out before that I didn't agree with your interpretation of the numbers. I also don't think showing that 2011 Marshall & 2012 Hartline having similar usage numbers where they end up with similar stats, proves your point.

Marshall hinting after his insane pro bowl about having "good qbs" was a diss to Jeff I imagine ...Jeff saw an opening to trade him (nightclub incident) and proceeded to get raped for a top 5 WR.

Since we're speculating/flat out making stuff up:

Marshall made the comment about QB's because he misses his lover Cutler. His wife stabbed him because he finally came clean about his relationship with Cutler.

Their impact (on the team and teammates number's) and their numbers overall aren't. That's my point.

Because...you...refuse...to...understand, the total production numbers are quite similar and I don't put any weight into your conclusions from your usage/potential usage metric. That was explained to you by numerous people when you first posted it.

I would have never traded for that bum to begin with. that is where we made a big mistake.
I was watching NFL playbook lastnight or what ever it is called where they are miked up.
They showed Marshall and Cutler and you could plainly see where Jay was fed up with the constant nagging from his supposed top flight WR.
Marshall is a headcase with serious issues.
The guy is more of a distraction than anything. I'm glad he is gone.

I love the Marino/Marshall comparisons. Opinions never cease to amaze me.
Marino was a class act who played QB.
Marshall is a "me first" WR

Brandon Marshall asked to be traded. The Bears knew about the nightclub incident before the trade. Marshall had made insinuations about our quarterbacks way before that incident in question. Brandon Marshall would have likely been cut if he could not be traded. Etc.

In what universe do you watch football where:
    86 rec, 1,014 yds 3 TDs
    81 rec, 1,214 yds 6 TDs

    "SUCKS"

In 7 seasons, Marshall averages over 1,000 yds and about 6ish TDs. He produced close to his "norm" here in Miami, and his "norm" will land him in Canton if he keeps it up.

You're just not quitting, but the argument is over Francis.

    Again...Link? (it doesn't exist)

That "would have been Cut" crap btw is embarrassing to bring up when it was obvious BS from Ross to justify the move.

I doubt seriously they would have taken a cap hit to cut a guy that would then get 120 catches and over 1,600 yards. They would look as stupid as you can get had they just cut him.
