His voice doesnt match his face, I initially thought he would look older, and less orange. No offense Sid.

When the forum split a little more than a year ago nearly every one of the subscription members followed to here. More than 500 ? Someone else would have to give you an accurate number for that split today but I'd bet there are few places with as much support from the family. There are forums and perks galore that you don't see.
To add to that many members don't seem to leave the subscription forums. Some just don't post a lot.....
Regarding the numbers, we recently culled (i.e. deleted) inactive accounts who hadn't been online for a certain amount of time, if ever. We don't anticipate doing that again. Since this site served as a temporary asylum while the other one was down for an extended time in late 2007-early 2008 (prior to our official split), many of those memberships were not really "ours" in our mind. They weren't here and they weren't active. Most of them probably don't even know we exist (which we actually prefer). So we scrubbed them, leaving us with a more accurate measurement of the site. As noted, the subscription-based forums see more activity than the free ones. We have some projects on the horizon, but prefer to keep the site to a higher standard. Good to have you, Sid.
Welcome aboard Sid! Glad to have you here. I'm looking forward to hearing your input about the Dolphins, as well as the rest of the NFL. Don't be a stranger!
When I return to the airwaves THIS will be the site that I promote for all the die-hard Dolphin fans out there. If you guys (and girls) head on over to www.sidrosenberg.com you will see that my webmaster Kevin already put up the graphic for this site on my page. I am humbled and impressed by the sincere welcome here and I too look forward to lots of great Dolphin and NFL talk right here on thePHINS.com!
The staff has given you full access to thePHINS.com Club forum for a year. Enjoy the 'insider' info and insight. If you'd like to write an occasional analytical / opinion piece for the site, we'd be happy to feature the article on our front page and in the forums.
Nice... Sid Rosenberg joins. This site keeps getting better and better. Welcome to the site Sid! I have to admit I have only listened to your show once or twice, but it is great to have some good people contributing to the site.
Wow dude. That's really great of you! We've added you to the top of our media links page. Thank you again for the kind words and support.
This is good news. You have chosen the best place to be. The admins, mods and posters on here go above and beyond making this "just" a Dolphins site. We're family and I am very proud to be allowed to be part of this family. They are the most helpful and informative people. They treat every one with respect. Can you tell I love 'em all and appreciate the friends I have here? I brag on them any chance I get.
Seems like a great place! Thanks again!! This is the one statement I've heard over and over again about the 2009 Dolphins. "The team will be better, probably play better (than the 2008 playoff team) but win less than last year." Your thoughts on that? Agree? Disagree?
I agree. The 2007 team wasn't as bad as their record appeared, we were killed by injuries, poor coaching and preparation, and people felt that record was reflective of the talent. So last year, expectations among the media, experts, etc were extremely low and we were able to surprise teams with more talent than they were expecting, as well as a gimmick play (wildcat) that allowed us to catch them off guard even further. I think last year was kind of the opposite of '07, we really weren't as good as the record indicated. Now going into this year we have a tougher schedule, our AFCE rivals have improved and teams will have had a full year to gameplan for the wildcat and all of it's new "wrinkles". We can't expect Porter to have another career year, Pennington is very efficient within 20 yards of the LOS, but he limits our deep game and guys like Ginn aren't utilized properly and opposing defenses cheat against the run. With all of the moves made this offseason, I still think that our OL has big questionmarks (especially durability concerns) and we really didn't do much to upgrade our passrush. It's going to be a tough year, I would love to see us in the playoffs again, I just don't see the wildcat being as successful as it was last year and I don't know how effective we'll be at getting to the QB. We improved our secondary a great deal, I just don't think it's going to be enough to help us find the same success as '08. Oh yeah, welcome
Welcome aboard Sid, never heard of you, don't listen to talk radio, but we're always glad to have new members and Dolphin fans join us. I would be a little curious as to what you meant by your initial comment/post how funny it is to see how inaccurate some of our posts are. Care to elaborate? Inaccurate about you? The Dolphins? We have some pretty darn bright football minds around this board (me not being one of them) and a few lugheads too (I probably fall closer to that category). But would be interested what you meant, anyway. Glad you've joined us, you'll find some very sharp and very good people in here.
