There are some pretty good QBs sitting home today. Brees, Rivers, Ryan etc.

I think there is more to making the playoffs than just the QB.

His supporting isn't good enough yet and neither is he. Ryan played well the last half of the season, but by no means has he arrived. His progression has been good though.

 

Everything is looking up for him, just improve the line and get a playmaker and we are scoring a ton.

I dunno. Brady and Manning can't play forever. Rivers and Ben either. There will be 7 playoff teams per conference starting next year, I think Tannehill should be in the playoffs quite a bit over the next several years.

For his sake, I hope Tannehill LOVES Joe Philbin, because, IMO, bringing that guy back for another year is a huge handicap against all the players on the team.

JMO, of course. I hope Philbin wins coach of the year next season, but I won't hold my breath.
