Here's a question. If the Patriots lose to the Chargers or the NFC representative in the SuperBowl do they become one of the all time choke teams? Which would be a sadder achievement, the Patriots losign now or the Bills losing 4 Super Bowls in a row. Inquiring minds want to know:bighug:

No way in hell you could say that would be chocking. They have proved to be clutch in too many situations for this to prove otherwise.

Dude. You go 17-0 only to lose it at the end. That would be seen as a monumental choke by a lot of people. Fair or not it would be seen like Villanova beating Georgetown

If they dont' win the SB it's a huge choke. They're favored what double digits against SD? They have to win the bowl or it's a choke.

Don't forget the 98 Vikings, I think they choked big time againt ATL too.

I don't care if they choke. I just want them to lose, period! I'm praying for an upset of any kind, just to shut them up! LOL

Sooner or later it is bound to happen that they have a crappy game, lotsa turnovers, or another team that just wants to shut them up. I think San Diego could do it, or either the Packers or Giants in the SB. The only thing is the Pats always seem to find a way to pull things out, and the refs usually help them in the close ones.
