:glare: yeah, just read about that a few mins ago. I like the Jake Long pick, but of course would have preferred Chris.

Man BP is one confusing motherbeater. All that interest in Gholston if Jake didn't sign and now its Chris Long.

    It was genius.....

What player gave Long the most fits his whole college career? Gholston!! Im sure the thought of Gholston beating him(again) for the privelage of the #1 overall selection, played a part in Jake's motovation to sign a deal.

Just a small thing yes, but great buisness.

Gholston was never in the picture IMO.

    Agreed

    Sadly? :shifty:

Doesn't really matter anyway. We definitely need a stud LT, hopefully he can fill that role for us.

For me personally, if we are able to draft a top DT/DE/LB/CB with the 32nd overall pick, then not drafting Chris will be much less of a blow. I just don't know how I feel about going after a QB at that point, as rumored, when there is an obvious, glaring need on defense. I personally would like to see a Groves, Conor, Mayo, Cason, etc., depending who is still on the board. If the FO is sold on Beck, I just don't see QB as being the next need position. Again, just my 2 cents.

Well ofcourse!!! We all would love to see the Dolphins "big board" but we will all just have to speculate instead.

Agree though we got our guy, the biggest need, the safest pick and maybe even the best overall player in this years draft---we can answer that in 3 years. :hi5:

I would like to see the CB position get adressed depending on the quality of who's available, ofcourse the last young CB we drafted that I was excited about tore up his knee and will likely never be the same.

    Who is Wil Poole?

How bout Calais Campbell? Pretty raw technique but the guy is one of the best athletes in the draft IMO.

If Jax can't manage to get Taylor from us, dont be surprised to see them take Calias.
