My RB situation is tight, last week I had to start Bernard Scott and Michael Bush because I have Ryan Matthews and Beanie Wells - I wasn't sure Beanie would get that many touches. Anyways, I think LeGarrette Blount is for real, especially what he did against the PIT defense. I see him as a legit red zone, short yardage back that will make a case to split carries with Cadillac. Cadillac is having a pedestrian season so far, and has an injury history. With LeGarrette Blount as the #2 back, he could become a solid contributor on any fantasy team. So, who should I drop? I was thinking: Massaquoi WR CLE Tate WR SEA M. Williams WR SEA OTHER WRs for depth: L. Fitzgerald WR ARZ H. Nicks WR NYG M. Manningham WR NYG J. Maclin WR PHI L. Naanee WR SD I am also stacked at TE: T. Gonzalez (starter) B. Pettigrew TE DET J. Gresham TE CIN So I can get rid of one of my TEs, but I like them too much. So, what say you guys?
Pettigrew's week two performance kind of makes me want to keep him in case the light comes on for the guy. If he can get rid of the dropsies, he can do pretty well. Was planning on dumping a WR since I have so many of them, and several of them experiments too, with G.Tate, M.Williams, and Naanee. Hmmmmm, I guess I am missing something...
You have a good point. I guess I'm a TE hoarder, but my rationale is that if one gets injured, I have two great replacements. Plus it gives me the flexibility to start the best TE when Gonzo is on a bye. Plus, do I really need all those WRs? That is why I want to dish one of them and keep the TEs.
If you are in a 20 team league I suggest you punt. Seriously dude, your team looks horrible from top-to-bottom. Even if you have Peyton Manning at QB your team needs some serious help. No hard feelings, but I don't think you are gonna win it all with that team this year.
Thanks for the helpful tip. Considering I drafted 12 of 12 and I am 2-1, I like my chances. Just need some production from my RBs.
Sorry man, didn't mean to sound like such a jerk when I typed that. It is just that your team looks like one of my teams with only one win so far, no depth at RB. RB's dominate in the FF playoffs. I would definately dump Tate, probably Manningham too and get some RBs off the WW that would have a large role if the starter goes down. Jason Snelling, Darby, Rashad Jennings, etc. and hope a starter goes down.
Thanks. I didn't take it the wrong way at all. PS. I do have Manning. Maybe one of the big reasons I'm 2-1.
