I will begin to tell that I'am sorry for tony sparano, he's a good guy no doubt in my mind, and I would liked our team be successful under his coaching.

but............;it's not the case and he's a professionnal, so fired him is the only solution for Ross after this another hearbreak.

My first choice is cowher and his angry style, but I want him here tomorow morning, why lose time, he needs to begin to work with our player for the end of this year to know who fit his scheme and who's not.

suckers for luck will tell than we need to finish with the first pick .......I am ok with pick luck but we really could send 2013,2014 and 2015 first round if necessary to get him.

JMO but if cowher is OK to take the job give him now and clean house immediatly, or the dolphins franchise will loose all fans support (see the empty stadium today).

Sorry to write that but it's my feel here in france this evening.

see you later on this forum and GO FINS GO !

sorry if my english isn't very good but I am french finfan

It would take a Tebow like miracle to get Cowher. Miami is not one his 'chosen' jobs. He also wants a QB already in place.

John Elway was reported to have stated before the game that the Broncos will not be a playoff contending team for at least three more years. If that is the case, how long is it going to take the Dolphins to turn this mess around? I seriously doubt if Cowher wants to come in and take over the Dolphins in the middle of the season. If he does take the job, it would be best for him to be hired after the season is over. He has stated that he would not want to coach anywhere unless the team had a franchise type QB. The best chance of getting a franchise QB is to keep Sparano as the head coach for the remainder of this season. If the Dolphins do happen to get Luck in the draft, Ross will have his selection of top coaches who will want to take over the head coaching job.

They're not hiring a coach mid-season.

This has been said a bazillion times.

There was an article back in the offseason that NYG, Miami and Carolina are his chosen jobs. Recent rumors have Cowher ted to buying a home near Jacksonville which would make sense if he wants this job.

EDIT: And I want Cowher as well, but we may as well suck for luck as much as we can.

I think Zimmer is actually going to be the guy. His players play hard for him and he'd probably be the best coach to turn around a defensive with talented, but lazy inconsistent players.

Bring this man back into the fold if you want some real leadership on this team.

I'd agree if it was for Ross. He's too much of celebrity whore to hire Zimmer.

Well if Gruden is out and Cowher doesn't take the job, it could be Les Miles although that probably won't fly. King Carl is giving out advice, we'll see who he's connected to. A lot of people like Mike Zimmer though.

Zimmer would be an awesome hire.

I'd have zero problem with Zimmer. Just can't see Ross doing it.

If we get Cowher now, we will be out of the Luck sweepstakes fellas. Wait until the season is over & for us to secure Luck before we ask for a new HC.

If those two are out then who is he left with?

He'll then go after Jimmy Johnson.

I dont want the new coach, whomever he is, anywhere near this current group of players. For the fear that something bad might rub off on him.

Let Sparano's ass continue to suffer just like the rest of us are. He is of the exact same mold that Wanny is from. Up 15 with 5 minutes to play and it's 3 straight runs up the gut! Going for two like a FG was going to come back and haunt him. Oyevay....

Might also make sense if he wants the Jacksonville job, which may very well come open as well.

Depends, contrary to popular belief, there is plenty of talent on the roster to win ballgames

Broncos problem is they let McAdolscent run the franchise into the ground with bad trades and FA signings.

Unnoticed in today's meltdown, the offense failed to score 20 pts...again...the D gave up 18, their performance has improved as the season has gone along, the O is just...pathetic..no other way to describe it.

Yessir, you "get it", Moore did play better, but 15 pts is just not going to win many ballgames.

Part of that is the oline, another part is they move to slowly putting young guys into the lineup, the other part is we are playing a backup Qb as our starter.

Daniel Thomas is a good back, but not an explosive back, he may wind up like Steven Jackson, piling up yards but no or few Td's, he is always one guy away from a big play which speaks of a lack of speed.

and a horrible o line with three of the 5 guys not being NFL caliber players. incockneato is horrible and should be cut tomorrow. carey is an overrated 1st round bust/too old and colombo is a giant waste of size signed cheap because we didnt wanna spend on mckinne(sp?) who is tearing **** up in bal.

long is a top 3 lt in the league and pouncy will be good but look at the price. we traded satele who was decent, for grove who we cut after what? one season? now we wasted a first round pick on yet another center when we need a qb, two safties, a lg, a RG, a RT and prob a WR or two.

I don't think Incognito is that bad actually. He's better than a lot of other guards I see around the league. Can't replace every player. I wouldn't go busting picks to draft a guard over him, that would be like Ireland. Colombo is another story. I think he's probably lost 2-3 games for them.
