What is the difference or the significance since the same people who were calling for Henne's head last season are now calling for Tannehill's head this year. After all of the money and effort put into the offensive line over the last few years it is still mediocre and no better than average or less. Our wide receivers are no better than mediocre and less than average and don't frighten anyone. None are dangerous enough to draw double coverage. Our running game is a non factor and certainly can't be considered a threat or a game changer. As is the case with Miami's wide receivers and passing game, our running game won't scare anyone and will not distract the defenses attention from the passing game.
I would love to see our Dolphins win but I won't be mad or upset if they lose. We are again near the end of another disappointing season and once again can start thinking about another coming draft/

 

I was calling for Henne's head last season, I am not calling for Tannehill's head this season. To be honest I was impressed by his play against the 49ers, especially when he was taking shots deep and was either inches off or hitting Moore in the freaking hands. There are some things I would like him to improve, like having a better feel for when to throw the ball away. For instance, not 3rd and 10 when there is no one near. At least try to run. Plus 4th and 10, least give the wide receiver a chance to catch the ball. However a lot of his problems I am ready to chalk down as a rookie, and look for improvement next season.

Also all this talk about Henne being emotionally invested in this game, presupposes that Henne has emotions to be invested.

 

For starters 1 is a rookie and only a fool would judge a rookie qb that harshly in their first season, esp in this offense.
