got offered darren sproles in a PPR for aj green, my RB situation sucks so i think this would help my team

    my team

    QB brees
RB demarco murray, david wilson, deangelo williams
wr roddy white, aj green, mike wallace, desean jackson

    deal ?

could drop williams after that and pick up a amendola, lafell, hartline (lol)

Hell bleeping no. I might consider that for wallace or jackson if my RB situation were that dire but no way would I consider that for AJ Green. Hes looking for a sucker with a crap offer like that

but the cincy offense is really not that explosive to give me that huge game, he rarely catches 6+ balls a game, sproles has outscored him so far in the 1st 2 games and this is a RB without one carry so far this season, i mean whats the hype about the guy, i understand he had a good rookie season, but that cincy offense scares me to death, i only took him in my draft because he was still there in round 5, do you think there is upside still to come fantasy wise ???

I would do that trade. Sproles is a borderline stud in ppr. Your downgrade from green to Wallace is far smaller then sproles to Williams.

Sproles in ppr is a late 1st early 2nd in terms of draft where green is maybe a 3rd rder

Imo you are greatly overstating sproles value. Hes a good player but he is essentially a wr3 for NO and he takes zero hand offs. So if Aj Green and cincys offense scares you to death I think you're a far braver person then me to trade a stud WR for a RB who takes no handoffs in two games and only caught so many passes because the saints have been trailing which imo wont continue

well....good points, still torn, sproles caught a lot of balls with the game still on the line though, it wasnt all because they trailed

Sproles is currently 2nd in the NFL in receptions and 14th in yards. Eventually we will get a few carries as well. AJ green isn't as great in PPR as he isn't a high volume reciever.

Part of the reason i would take the trade is based on the rest of his roster. He has 3 capable starting WR and only 1 RB. Sproles finished 7th in the league in receptions last year so this isn't a fluke.

Sproles should exceed green in receptions, beat him in total yards and come close in TD. Plus he plays a scacer position.

this is also my thinking because i have these 3 other receivers and i could still drop williams or wilson and pick up a 4th receiver again in amendola, lafell, hartline, britt

Its not the trading AJ Green part I have a hard time with...its the trading him for Darren Sproles part I have a hard time with. In a league that doesnt count return yardage then Darren Sproles is simply less valuable then AJ Green. You should be able to get a full time back for a stud like Green..no reason a Steven Jackson or a Ryan Mathews or a Trent richardson may not be within reach.

IDK, I think PPR Sproles might get more points.

On a somewhat related note AJ Green's teammate Adndrew Hawkins is someone I like. Dude is lightning fast and should get single coverage every play.

P.S. Mikell Leshoure is coming off suspension

In a PPR he might get more points but thats not necessarily the lone issue. AJ Green on name recognition alone is worth more. Why do you think the other guy is willing to do the deal?

i would never ever ever consider AJ Green for Steven Jackson, he is the most injury prone RB in the last 5 years, unreal 1 game he is out, if i remember correctly last year he got injured on the first play of the season

Trade Mike Wallace or DeSean for Michael Bush or Peyton Hillis.

Or do a combo of WR and RB for WR/RB
