I saw a program about wildlife on an island off Africa where lions are afraid of and stay well clear of water buffaloes normally a prey animal on the continent . By a certain twist of evolution these buffaloes became the dominant animal on that island. You learn something new everyday.
Here's some more of the Bili Apes; that's a wiki page on them. There has been a few different articles on these Bili apes that has been published in the last decade. There was one in 2003 published, as well as 2004. The original article posted by gafinfan stated that there are some skeptics that believe its all a fairy tale, which I hope not because I think this is awesome lol, but this article says that it has been confirmed.
