I'm writing a research paper for my Electronic Media & Culture class about relationships through forums & social networking sites. I'm getting some sources and collecting some data to create some charts. I figured creating a poll here would do some good to help bolster my research. Anyways, if you guys could select the proper choice on how much time you spend here, I'd really appreciate it! I'm not letting making the voting public, so try to be honest... It'll help my data. All depends... Gameday including chat room for a WIN: 4-5 hours. Gameday including chat room for a LOSS: 6 hours because of the bickering. Off season for the month leading up to free agency: 1-2 hours. Off season for the week free agency gets underway: 2-3 hours. Draft month: 1-2 hours. Draft weekend: 6-10 hours a day. Off season "dead time": Maybe an hour.

3-4 hours.....off and on at work.....and then a few times throughout the evening once i get home....wife knows iam addicted......she knew what she was getting into when she said "i do" and she had a baby in her belly already named "zachary thomas"
If I don't work a particular day, 4+. It may not be that long, but I'm regularly accessing it over more than a 4 hour span. So I just am saying 4+.
At work I always keep a tab open on firefox with thephins.com and just refresh every so often (thank god the site isn't blocked). At home maybe no more than 1 hour....in small spurts. I visit the site the most Mon-Fri, but definitely more than 4 hours a day.
way too much... Between this site, hell, and cyber sex with lucky, I have very little "me time" Edit - Also, I spend waaaaay more time discussing video games than football. In fact, I rarely ever discuss football.
Averaging it out, I'd have to say 2-3 hours a day. There are some days I don't visit, and other days I spend way too much time here...

Im a reader more than a writer and since I can access this site from work I couldnt even tell you how much time but its a lot..I voted 3-4 hrs but If im honest its more...someone please help me..
Whats funny is Football is obviously very important to me but I also calculate how the board is going to be If we win or lose...If we lose I spend much less time here because the Board goes negative ape**** after a tough loss we Win and its all rosy for the week .
On days I work 1-2 hours at home 1-2 hours on my phone. On days I am off 4+ easy. Ill be posting in between sets at the gym, while Im food shopping, or when Im doing nothing. The only times Im not here is when Im sleeping, very busy at work, showering, or draining the main vain... I have posted while talking to customers at work face to face I have posted while getting yelled at by my boss I have posted while crapping, driving, and at other times when I generally shouldnt have even been thinking about ThePhins. I have posted in concerts, sporting events, and while jogging. I posted once while nailing a very boring lay..funny enough I think it was in the Ladies Lounge and I think that got me through that night. This place is a sickness but its so good

Well, for me it really depends on the day. On weekdays, Monday - Thursday, I usually get up in the a.m. and check this site and Facebook, about a half hour or so. Then I'll probably spend another half hour to hour and a half on it at work in the morning. I usually take another half hour for my lunch and I'll read it ... albeit on my phone. Heck, if there's a breaking story (such as Chambers being released) I may check my phone on the way to and from work, which is a 15 minute drive either way. I'll probably spend another hour or so on it in the afternoon, and then anywhere from 1 to 2 hours on it in the evening, unless I've got something else going on. Tuesdays and Thursdays are both like this because my wife has class ... so during the week we're probably talking about 4 + hours, easy. Friday nights and Saturdays I'm usually completely off the site and hanging with my "real" friends, so I might check in on the site - nothing more than an hour usually. Sundays I'm usually on for at least the duration of the game in chat, and at least 2-3 hours afterwards, so we're talking about 6 to 8 hours if it's a game day. I need a hobby.
I voted 1-2 hours, but it really depends on alot of things, 1-2 hours is probably a good average. I am on here every single day of the year guaranteed. Sometimes if I'm busy in my personal life (Yes I have a life. What? I do, seriously) I may only be on for 15 minutes and may not post. But if at home with nothing to do, I could be on here for 2 or 3 or 4 hours straight reading and talking football. In the off-season, I probably spend a little less time here, but I still log on daily just to see what's going on. And I don't even want to get into how much time I spend on here during the GM league.
