Gary Kubiak, Ben McAdoo, and Jeff Tedford would be the other guys who I would consider 'sought-after'. No idea how you 'rank' them and Lazor. No idea why this is a big deal. Sherman had to go...plain and simple. And he was indeed replaced.
I hope so too but I doubt you're wrong. You were the first to say that we should have stuck with the 3-4, well the first other than Ireland. He acquired guys to add speed and athleticism to the existing 3-4 while Coyle was adamant amount forcing the 4-3 on a talent base that was ill suited for it. It's a shame bc I think we had a top 5 defense personnel wise.
Post #22. I said: "It's not a 100% confirmation, but subjectively, I think it's a pretty clear indication." You're moving your own goalposts at this point. Move on.
Heck, if they'd have had Red Bryant instead of Jared Odrick at DE in 2012, I think that would have worked out well schematically...until they replaced Dansby/Burnett with Ellerbe/Wheeler. And even then, I think the run defense would've have been better than it was. I think they've wrongly evaluated just how effective Olivier Vernon really is as a base DE and what he was good at in terms of run-defense. That coupled with the LBs made for some rough outings.
No. I honestly and genuinely believe the things I'm saying. Stringer is basically trying to argue not only the concept of "hottest" but also the concept of a OC prospect. He's doing that, because that's what he does.
Didn't think there were still people naive enough to think that Philbin wasn't forced to get rid of Sherman...guess I was wrong.
dont tell me.... Mr. business side of things is oblivious to the business side of the game. there plenty of positions to be filled in the nfl, not just he head coaches you hear about from the media. there is a ladder to climb and the best are sought out league wide......and no.... just because your one of the most deserving coaches in the league for a promotion to OC, it doesnt mean you should be qualified to be a HC, thats also ridiculous.
None of what you said actually supports the theory that Lazor was the "hottest OC prospect". This is something that could very easily be proven if true.
I am trying to determine how you reached the conclusion that Lazor was the "hottest Oc candidate". That was a completely arbitrary claim to make, and I am curious how you reached the conclusion. Sent from my HTC One using Tapatalk
