i was watching some old dolphin games one was from 1972 and the aqua jerseys looked darker to me did the aqua jerseys change over the years in terms of the tone or the shade of the color ? i know the currrent aqua is awesome but after watching a 1990 clip of miami vs the chargers that jersey looked a whole lot lighter then the current or the 70's jerseys .

i am just currius if the jerseys look lighter or darker in person as oposed to tv or youtube .

recently i met a dolphin fan who had a KEITH Byars jersey and it was really light colored compared to my Ronnie Brown jersey so it peeked my curiosty as to wheather or not Miami changed the shades of the jersey . I also saw a fin fan in a aqua - blue like jersey with Tony Martin on it .

while i am on this subject can a guy find a Tony Paige , Tony Martin or a Lorenzo Hampton jersey anywhere.

i ws talking to a fin fan who said he heard that miami may be adding a orange / white bi color jersey in a few years.

I think the old 70's jerseys and 80's jerseys always seemed more blueish. After that, they've always been teal-ish looking. You may have saw some fake jerseys. Honestly, I wish we would go with an aqua that actually looks blue. Much more aesthetic.

The new Nike aqua matte finish jersey is my favorite jersey...remember the bills night game, our team choked like a bunch of pu$$ies but the jersey looked dynamite..

Choked against the titans, then against the bills...wonder wtf was going on there..

Maybe we should just let all our free agents go and rebuild this thing with Philbins guys.

FWIW, Jesse Agler of the Phinsiders estimates at least 6. From the Jerseys I've had over the years, it's probably in the ball park:

I don't ever remember them wearing a uniform as blue as the one in left column of the second row.

Might've been in the very early days. I've seen pics of a uniform from back then that has a rather blueish shade, although I don't recall it being quite that blue.

The Uniforms they wore in 1966-71 and 1987-90 were the best colors to me. The aqua was more blue than green, which I think is best.
