I explained his reason very clearly in the text you just quoted me on so we can hash it out and move past it. Everything you just said is true except the part I bolded- that's the whole problem here. You're saying Landry doesn't have a right to be upset over something that would clearly make a lot of folks upset. Maybe his reason wasn't valid to you, but it was to him at the time. You don't know what's going on in someone's life or why they might react harshly to something...that's the moderator's job to determine. For instance, one of my best friends from high school fell in a park while playing with his son last week and severed his spinal cord. The news was devastating and I'm still not anywhere near over it- he will be a paraplegic for the rest of his life. My heart breaks for him because he was such a great person and father. So when I was on a different forum yesterday and saw someone making fun of paraplegics calling them dumb ******s, you can only imagine how I reacted. It was a very distasteful joke that wasn't meant to hurt anyone but to me, at that point in my life, it was the most offensive thing I had ever read. So like I said, we don't get to decide how other people feel or tell them that they have no reason for something. To Landry, there was a reason and he reacted poorly. Can we please just let it go at that? I literally feel like I've bared my soul here trying to make peace with you...hopefully you're not just here to troll and decide to take the olive branch.
