Internet Explorer 8 and get 7 back?

I am SO sick of IE8 constantly crashing on me in the middle of typing something. It crashed on me during my first attempt of THIS post. lol

So, help me out!! (I have Vista)

Not sure how to do that. Why not just get firefox though?

I imagine the problem could actually be Vista :shifty:

So, I have been noticing messages on Youtube lately that their time of supporting 7 is not going to be much longer :pity:

    ^^^

Really? Great. Maybe I won't go back to IE7 now. I've never had a problem with Vista. I didn't start having these problems until I installed IE8.

I tried Mozilla Firefox a couple years ago and I hated it. Have they made it better? And if I put it in and I like it now, can I just delete IE all together?

They have made it quicker IIRC.

You could also try K-Meleon, but it is a little strange.

I would keep IE because updates to your system are done best through IE (per microsoft)

about two years ago my internet explorer wouldn't work for some reason (imagine that . . .), and although i didn't want to, was forced to try firefox. i never went back.

oh yeah, and you can't delete i.e.

same with media player and a lot of other microsoft applications that came with vista (it's built into the "shell" or whatever). you can only delete small things like solitaire, etc.

I would switch to Chrome, but FireFox>IE, and pretty much any other browser>IE

Just get Firefox. If I did not build websites and needed IE for testing it would have been uninstalled years ago.

    Your right.

I would just go with Firefox or even Opera.

There is a reason it is one of if not the most used browser.

    Opera works well too.
