Yeah that was pretty bad. WTF was Sage thinking jumping over the top in the middle of the field WITH THE LEAD! Made no sense. Then at the end he throws one to....who? There wasn't even a receiver there.

Sage Rosenfels was singlehandedly responsible for that. 2 fumbles and an INT in the last 3 minutes, thats horrible.
Guess they wont be leaving him in for Schaub after all. They should have won today and last week but are unable to close out a game.

On the positive, their offense played fairly well, and they finally got Andre Johnson the ball. However, they have badly regressed from last year. If they finish less than .500 I expect Kubiak and the GM to lose their jobs. I would also expect them to invest in a QB in the draft at some point. Not necessarily a first rounder, but someone for sure.

Why were they even putting the ball in the air with a 17 point lead anyway?

Miami has never beaten Houston. Next week is a great opportunity to change that. If they make 12 field goals again to win though I'm going to punch a hole in my wall.

Oh I will. Sage played a great 3 QT of football and just blew it.

Were a different team I think I'm going to buy into the hype.

To be safe someone should take a tire iron to Chris Browns knee, that guy is crazy good and has been the team MVP for awhile now lol.

But seriously, this is a classic letdown setup. Coming off two huge wins, playing against a struggling team, on the road, that has historical success against us.

To really show improvement, we need to beat teams that arent as good as us. Thats what the best teams do, they win the games they should, and show up and compete for the ones that are even.

Weve showed up and competed in games that we (at best) were supposedly even for, now we play a team we SHOULD beat. Need to make sure these kids dont rest on their laurels and take this game for granted. Would hate to see this nice streak broken by a crappy team like the Texans.

Detroit is absolutely pathetic... I was at their game today... Kyle Orton and the bears just made them look pathetic... yes... KYLE ORTON. Kitna is terrible... their fans are terrible... they booed the lions off the field after a 3 and out on the first series of the game!!!

As for houston... wow... just wow... 21 points against in 4 minutes or so??? thats just atrocious... how that happens at the pro level is almost hard to understand...

And with the lead no less! PROTECT THE BALL!

But yeah, Detroit, wow. Nice stadium though. We have to toss the rams in the conversation as well though, they are pretty terrible. And after looking decent for once last week, the Chiefs resumed their doormat status with a nasty goosegg against Carolina.

The Texans did finally get Andre Johnson going this week.

The truth is revealed, no wonder! Lol it was a terrible sequence for Rosenfels though. I fully expect to see Shaub back against us though. Sage is decent, but hes not the answer there and the coaching staff needs to see if Schaub is. Kubiak giving up on him (again) would look very bad for him and the media is already calling for his head unless things pick up.

That said, either QB is prone to making big mistakes when pressured. If we can do to them what we have been to Cassell and Rivers we should hold that offense in check. Let them sit back and they will pick you apart. They have very good recievers, and a solid TE, you cannot give them time to get open because they will. If we can control LoS on both sides of the ball we will win easily, if we cant it will be a battle.

They always seem to play well against us, for whatever reason, they have our number.

    Well away from here
Matchup issues, they have a good D-line and we have hsitorically had a bad one - at least the last 7 years truly. At their peak they were average at best.

I will say that our ability to run between the tackles should worry them, as their defensive front is a little smaller than what we have faced the last two weeks.

Slayton is a slasher, and he could make us look bad if we don't play disciplined football.

Yeah we need to try and contain him and not give up big running plays, or big pass plays for that matter. The Texans do have some nice big play ability, if we can keep them away from that, let R&R and our offense grind them, we should be OK. Their DL is smallish and can get pressure, but in a power game we should be able to blow them off the ball. Thus why they have such a heinous redzone percentage.
