I really like Javon Ringer. For a guy that small (5'9" maybe 200lbs), he doesnt shy away from contact, he's quick, and shifty.

Jason Jones I think and he's very impressive. Quick, has pretty good pass rush skills and had a nice rookie year at both end and tackle. I like him a lot.

He was actually pretty good in the rotation last year for the Titans and has improved. I know they like him quite a bit and for good reason in my opinion. Another former Dolphin is Fred Evans, who has been decent for Minnesota.

He has incredible lower body strength. He keeps his legs moving always.

glad to see i'm not the only one that likes Ringer. I am really liking what I see from him tonight. He's been quick, violent, shiffty, and above all is showing good vision. There's been a few plays when his line hasn't gotten a push, but he's shown enough speed to take it outside and enough power to go up the middle. This kid could have a future if he ever gets his shot (and it own't be easy behind CJ).

They run by committee and I believe LenDale White won't be back next year. He's a free agent after this season and I think he'll want more money than they'll throw at him. I know when Ringer was drafted, many questioned why they took yet another running back but I think that's the reason. I also could see Ringer having quite a bit of success. One of the reasons he dropped so low despite at one point being considered an early second rounder is because of his knee injuries. He had bad knees, had a heavy workload in college and then ended up having surgery prior to the combine I believe.

Cheese and maybe tomatoes and ham.

The only thing I can take from this game is the Bills Oline is not very good and Vince Young is still Vince Young and Kevin Vickerson has gotten massive, the guy is an oak tree now.

No tomatoes, no veggies or fruit for me. When I die, they are gonna find a cow or turkey inside of me, not some healthy crap.

The only fruit I eat is cherry flavored pop-tarts or grape jelly with my peanut butter:wink2:

I hate any afc teams except the Dolphins.
The jests and ne are the worst tho'.

I hated the buffalumps when oj was there, he made me sick way back then.
Joe namath made me want to throw up.
That's just my 2 cents sick.

Ok, question. Why were the refs wearing red & white shirts during the game?

ques. 2. Why do refs hang around during tc? I saw them on the vids just standing around and talking.

Debby. Often times, the teams will hire the refs to observe their camps and call penalties they see during scrimmages, practice, etc. They also come in to explain rule changes as well if I am not mistaken.

And I believe they were wearing those colors as a throwback to the original AFL league from 50 years ago.

    Well away from here
Some are asked by teams to come and help as players need to know what will be called. When teams scrimmage or practice at high intensity, they want to know where the line is and what to bring all aspects of the game into the fray. No good a guy getting away with holding all training camp and then expecting him to know where the line is once the season starts.

Also, I think the league encourages it as well from the refs points of view to get them back in shape and used to the speed of the game. Works for both parties.

Kind of wishing death would find a way to that movie franchise after the first one. American Pie has kind of gone that way too now.

Anyone else watching the re-run? I missed the game yesterday so I'm watching it now and man Andy Levitre is being manhandled by Kevin Vickerson. He's way too upright out of his stance, is letting Vickerson into his body and then when he does get his hands on Vickerson, he fails to lock out. Buffalo better hope that gets corrected. Meanwhile, the no huddle O looks pretty good, even though its ran by Ryan Fitzpatrick. I saw the Bills play a 4-4 front with a three deep set on one play, which was interesting.

Well its about to be halftime but I didn't find them to be anything more than average, like they've been for a while now. I don't mean that as an insult, just a honest opinion. Their interior line is incredibly shaky as they basically allowed pressure from everywhere possible. I think a good blitzing team could really tear them apart on the interior.

Trent Edwards I think has to take the next step for them to be a successful team this season and I really don't see it happening. He's a game manager and despite that label, he still makes decisions that are questionable. I still don't understand why they keep playing Josh Reed in the slot and not Roscoe Parrish. Reed is nothing special and Parrish is a threat because he has so much wiggle and can gain yards after the catch. They tried to trade him this off-season and I don't understand why. Why not give arguably your most dynamic player the ball?

On defense, they mixed it up a little with the fronts. Paul Poszluszny I thought looked pretty good. They played some Tampa 2 and he did a pretty good job of dropping down the pipe and deflecting a pass or two if I remember correctly. When it came to run defense, it seemed like they started off strong for the first few plays and then I don't know what happened. They either over-pursued or simply didn't make the tackle because they gave up more yardage than they should have.

Re: Levitre - I don't know why he's playing like this. He's not impressive at all, to say the least. He's not locking out when he gets his hands on Kevin Vickerson so Vickerson just keeps on driving into the chest area of Levitre and collapsing the pocket. He also keeps losing leverage. I don't know what's up with him but its certainly something I didn't expect. I liked him coming out.

Yeah I know you liked him which is why I was :lol:ing when he got pushed back into Edwards to help him throw that pick. I don't want them to have good guards.

Quick yes but wow did the guy pack on the pounds this offseason. Here is a pic from college, then Falcons, and finally the Titans (last year). Then compare that with what you seen last night (sorry I couldn't find a picture for comparison).

Bills offensive line looked ridiculously bad. i cant wait for the Phins D to wreck havok on Edwards.

Britt did not play because of a leg injury btw.

I have to say that I dont understand why Crumpler sat out there as long as he did before he was signed by the Titans. I mean I know he was hurt at the time but the dude can play, and looked very good in this game.

Massive, absolutely massive, and still with a good bit of speed.

Looks to me like the Bills aren't going to be a probllem this season.

The no-huddle offense is only used to disguise their overall poor OL.

Like Padre said, Levitre didn't look great at the Senior Bowl. I am also not surprised he's struggling.

Yeah he struggled at the Senior Bowl but I liked what I saw from him during his time at Oregon State.
