Rank Points (record) Team - Last week's ranking

    1 35.235 ( 12 - 0 ) Indianapolis Colts - 1
I don't think the Colts or Saints finish the full season undefeated. But I'm having a hard time finding a team on either team's schedule that I'm confident will beat them to prevent a double 16-0.

    2 34.253 ( 12 - 0 ) New Orleans Saints - 2
The best thing for the NFL would be two undefeated teams in the Super Bowl. And it would be the worst nightmare for the '72 Dolphins.

    3 19.149 ( 10 - 2 ) Minnesota Vikings - 3
Brett Favre looked quite his age on Sunday night.

    4 18.327 ( 9 - 3 ) San Diego Chargers - 4
7 straight victories, and 2 tough opponents coming up for the Chargers; Dallas and Cincinnati.

    5 17.733 ( 8 - 4 ) Denver Broncos - 5
Tough choice for Dolphin fans. Root for the Broncos to ruin the Colts perfect season, or root for the Colts to hurt the Broncos playoff chances?

    6 14.304 ( 9 - 3 ) Cincinnati Bengals - 6
The reason the Bengals rank below the Broncos here is likely due to the 3rd easiest schedule in the league.

    7 14.185 ( 8 - 4 ) Arizona Cardinals - 11
I think I've had enough of Kurt Warner. This team still bores me.

    8 13.808 ( 8 - 4 ) Philadelphia Eagles - 12
I like the Eagles this year. McNabb's got so many weapons. But the only 2 teams they've beaten this year currently over .500 were the Giants when they were in their big slump, and the Falcons without Matt Ryan and Michael Turner. They'll be put to the test over the last 4 weeks against the Giants, 49ers, Broncos and Cowboys.

    9 12.648 ( 8 - 4 ) Green Bay Packers - 10
They've rebounded from the 1-2 punch of getting swept by the Vikings and giving Tampa their sole win of the year with 4 straight victories.

    10 11.909 ( 8 - 4 ) Dallas Cowboys - 7
Only 1 of their 8 victories came against teams currently over .500. And they are 1-4 in games played against teams currently over .500.

    11 10.863 ( 7 - 5 ) New York Giants - 15
    12 9.421 ( 6 - 6 ) Baltimore Ravens - 9
    13 9.179 ( 7 - 5 ) New England Patriots - 8
    14 7.878 ( 6 - 6 ) Miami Dolphins - 19
This is the Dolphins highest ranking of the season. Henne is 6-3 as a starter. If he can pull of 10-3, he should take Miami back to the playoffs. Believe!

    15 7.744 ( 5 - 7 ) Tennessee Titans - 13
    16 7.552 ( 6 - 6 ) Pittsburgh Steelers - 14
    17 7.512 ( 7 - 5 ) Jacksonville Jaguars - 18
This weeks Dolphin opponent's 7 victories all came against teams currently at .500 or below. And 3 of their 5 losses were to teams currently below .500.

    18 7.066 ( 6 - 6 ) New York Jets - 21
    19 6.468 ( 6 - 6 ) Atlanta Falcons - 16
    20 5.050 ( 5 - 7 ) Houston Texans - 17
    21 4.092 ( 5 - 7 ) Seattle Seahawks - 25
    22 3.587 ( 5 - 7 ) San Francisco 49ers - 20
    23 3.254 ( 4 - 8 ) Oakland Raiders - 26
    24 2.786 ( 5 - 7 ) Carolina Panthers - 22
    25 2.157 ( 5 - 7 ) Chicago Bears - 23
    26 0.322 ( 4 - 8 ) Buffalo Bills - 24
    27 -1.255 ( 3 - 9 ) Kansas City Chiefs - 27
    28 -1.700 ( 3 - 9 ) Washington Redskins - 28
    29 -5.536 ( 2 - 10 ) Detroit Lions - 29
    30 -6.410 ( 1 - 11 ) Cleveland Browns - 32
    31 -6.430 ( 1 - 11 ) St. Louis Rams - 30
    32 -7.610 ( 1 - 11 ) Tampa Bay Buccaneers - 31

poor bucs. they have a crappy team and the worst schedule. the titans kind of scare me. they've been good lately and they have the 2nd hardest schedule. they're a team that's better than their record. we're better than jacksonville though. they're only one game ahead of us and they have an easy schedule as opposed to our tough schedule.

Actually the Titans are tied with the Texans for the league's hardest schedule so far. I hadn't noticed that at first. The AFC South is easily the most competitive division. And the Dolphins will have to rip through 3 of them if they are to have a shot at the playoffs.

Surprisingly, it looks like that week 17 matchup against the Steelers will be the easiest of the last 4. Wouldn't have said that when the schedules came out, or even a month ago.
