Bess has more yards than Calvin Johnson so far, does that make him better??....Rodgers threw some nice TD balls yesterday, ones I wish Henne could do on Sunday.... Something is amiss with either Henne, or the corp...maybe it is a timing thing..
I have some of the same concerns after watching that game. But two more variables must be considered as possible explanations to the lackluster passing game we saw yesterday: 1) The Bills have a top notch pass defense with some very skilled cover guys. This isn't the first time they've held a good passing game down to a minimum. 2) The Bills don't score alot of points on offense. Why does this matter? Because if you're Sparano, and you KNOW you have more firepower than your opponent, you KNOW your Defense isn't going to give up alot of points to this team, and you KNOW the only way you lose this game is to make stupid mistakes that help your opponent back into the game (see last year's game), then you score enough points to win taking as little chances as possible. Why take a alot of risky chances when you don't need to, knowing full and well that it's exactly those risky chances that your opponent needs to feed their hopes of winning. You starve the Bills to death by making them win it on their own and you let your offense feed on rations. Just a thought.
