It's one thing to be fired up in the first three quarters. Ball games are won and lost in the fourth. Unless of course your team has had their *** handed to them in the first three. Man, that's good to hear.
as much as i would like the playoffs (and it is still remotely possible pending the outcome of the next 4 games) ... i am happy the Henne experiment has started -- better this year than to wait yet another year -- just for the sake of a good record.
It's gotta feel great to beat the hell out of a division rival in your first career start. I've said it before, I think he has the tools to be a successful QB in this league. Hopefully he'll continue to improve.
woot. go henne. Now its time to show your better than an overrated USC clown who was reached on in primetime
Im sorry but im not on board the funship train yet, Henne played OK.. He could have cost us dearly with the two fumbles and we were playing against a team that's really hurting right now. Someone had to win thankfully it was us. The Jets just got beat by a good team and they will be looking to beat us handily. We need to tire out that defense in this game. We need to POUND the ball down their throats. Keep them off offense. Henne did well lets keep the momentum going.
What are you talking about? We beat Buffalo 38-10. You say that kind of stuff when two crappy teams play a 10-7 game where both teams play poorly. Back to the topic: I cannot wait until Henne outplays Snatchez on National TV!!! Steve Young will say, "Snatchez played poorly, but he has the it factor."
Henne definitely is a leader. He started at Michigan so I hope he learned a few things from that experience. As for the extra's, credit to Pennington for being a great mentor. I really think Henne could be our guy. I certainly hope he is.
