I love the guys here but this is pretty far fetched. Guys get paid a lot of money to do those jobs and they spend literally decades in the league to get them.

I don't consider it far fetched at all. In your career field, do the guys with the most rank and time of service always know their job the best or perform them the best? Why should the NFL be any different? Nepotism is rampant in the NFL. Just look how they keep recycling coaches from team to team.

Its not really all about being the best at your job but needless to say if you are making a living at something and someone is not you would be hard pressed to say you are better at it than the one making a living at it.

Guys get into the NFL at young ages work outrageous hours and work their way up, you can disagree with them but usually they put their time in and paid their dues to get where they are. Fans like to dump on guys like Wannestadt but none of them could coach in the NFL or college like him, you have to know the difference between someone being a pro and making a living doing something and someone doing something for pure enjoyment or a hobby. Its like someone saying they can play guitar better than Eric Clapton but they never play live or never tour or never make albums, you really can't say you're better at that point.

Drafts are also done with multiple people's input, owners input, etc so its hard to just take a guys mock and say he would have drafted better than a guy who does it for a living. I'm a paying member of this site in large part due to a lot of the expert opinions in here, so I don't want to sound like I'm putting anyone down, I'm not, but guys have jobs in the NFL for a good reason. Its not all just about the good ole boys, people earn those jobs.
