Given how much of an impact automation technology makes on industry, the economy, and our own daily lives, I thought it might be good to highlight one of the stalwarts in modern civilized society. The turnstile.

We could be saving a lot in cap space if we simply invited automation to the process (within league rules). We would be pioneering a whole new way to play the game,

Think about it. They don't require benefits, compensation, health insurance, training, or even food. They do one job, and one job only: block unauthorized access. Granted, unauthorized access is still possible by simply jumping them (waist-high bar turnstiles), but still. They do their job well for the most part.

So I ask, what are some of the key differences between our offensive line and this row of NYPT turnstiles?

I know they don't keep sack statistics for turnstiles, but please...

Please help identify some of the key differences between our offensive line and a row of turnstiles. Thanks in advance.

The question is this...if we put a 300 pound sack of crap, where Jon Martin lines up..what is the difference between Martin and the sack of crap in impeding a rush?

There is no foul odor associated with a turnstile (depending on the city you are in).

Not true at all, when Martin lines up at LT there is eventual a sack involved.
