this is news to me everything that i have read has been pretty positive. http://www.nfldraftbible.com/Daily-Dose/brian_hartline_rookie_woes.html
That's an interesting article. I think he will get better. He is determined to get better. We will have to see how he does in the preseason.
A bit early to be too worried about him, he is a rookie after all, never played 1 down in an NFL game.
NFL Draft Bible also stood by their claim that the USC linebackers tested positive for steroids. Hartline looked quite good at the scrimmage I attended on Saturday. All indications were that he had a solid first week. There were also rumblings prior to the 'official' depth chart coming out that he'd surpassed Turner. Sparano made note that Hartline got stripped during strip drills yesterday. Said he has to be more consistent. That's a far cry from 'struggling'. Sparano never used that word. Draft Bible simply read a RotoTimes blurb and re-posted it, then took off from there. RotoTimes based it off the PBP's report. IMO, RotoTimes read between the wrong lines.
that's not an interesting article. It is typical NFL DRAFT BIBLE bullcrap. In comparison, they make Omar look like a Pulitzer Prize winning writer.
So did Matthews and Cushing end up NOT testing positive for roids? That is the first I have heard of that.
News to me, I could have sworn most reports on him were that he was doing well for himself and impressing. Now this... another conflicting report... strange.
Nope. And Draft Bible eventually apologized. But they held on to the bitter end. They also had to take back their report that Vontae flunked a drug test at the Combine. That site is dead to me.
NFL: Hartline Experiencing Rookie Woes: 1)certainly, everyone goes through "Rookie Woes" (whatever that means) 2)haven't read anything that would collaborate the authors indictment of Hartline as a near-bust 3)usually takes two or three seasons for a rookie WR to come into his own 4)out of character for Sparano to publicly release anything resembling negative information about a player. the entire report is suspect 5)Hartline will probably have to make his bones on SpecialTeams to be among the 53 on the final roster. we've all known this from the get-go. Hartline has got time to develop. let them compete
I find this funny because today Edgar Thompson tweeted that Hartline has made the most BIG PLAYS of any Dolphins' WR this entire camp.
The first comment I read from Sparano was Hartlines ability to stop and change direction very quickly. Hartlines a rookie who is trying very hard to make the team and you can't ask for anything more right now. Draft Bible is fishing for a story and is using the wrong bait IMHO.
Talked to my dad today who is up in Ohio and he commented that they have been saying up there that Hartline is doing well in camp
