    Because of this, the company will produce 13% fewer motorcycles in 2009, which is bad news for the 12% of Harley’s workers who will be let go following the closing of facilities in Milwaukee and Franklin, Wis. Approximately 1,100 jobs, including 800 hourly production positions, will be cut over the course of two years between now and 2010. Another facility in charge of paint and frame operations in York, Pa., will also be shrunk.
