Take-Two Interactive Software scored more than $500 million in global sales of criminal action game "Grand Theft Auto IV" in its first week, marking what it said on Wednesday is one of the most lucrative entertainment events in history. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/24502383/ Figured I make a new post and not put in the GTA stickied post.
Today I was at work and talking about the game with a few people, and there are probably about 7 or 8 of us in the 20-25 range. After a couple mins I realized that all 8 of us owned the game. Pretty incredible the odds of that. I bet I would have to call every (non-female) friend in my phonebook to find someone who doesnt own it yet. Pretty crazy.
Epic. The first damn time I've ever stood outside of a store for a midnight release, and this is coming from someone who had an Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and iPhone the week of their releases. Speaks volumes about how anticipated I was for GTA IV.
I still don't have it and don't plan on getting it. I played it at a buddies house but it just doesn't appeal to me. It's fun to just screw around in the city, but I think I'd lose interest after an hour or so.
if i was in your phone you could call me and unfortunatley i dont have it i got a ps2....im poor as dirt
Yeah but you have a kid, thats way more interactive. Come down to Fla you can play it whwnever you want...cept for right now cause Im gonna go play it.
I think they are just about done making new games for the PS2. Which is sad. In my mind they should still be making games for the original NES. Hell, even new Atari games would be fun.
