ha, its sad when they even keep their own guys on hold, makes you feel bad for the decent guys who are technicians but they get the screaming and rants of mad customers when 9 times out of 10 its probably not their fault. ah well, c'est la service industry
I have comcast and hate it. Unfortunately its the only option here. And yes, they are a ****ty company, if you have a choice I strongly recommend not picking them.
I absolutely hate Comcast. We're switching to Verizon when it comes to our area later this year hopefully.
i have Comcast for phone and internet but not cable, DIRECTV of course for the ticket. i didnt read the article but when the tech was here installing it, he was always on hold waiting to talk with someone. i havent had any issues yet but i have only had it like 4 months so who knows....
That's pretty damn funny. Feel bad for that tech guy who will probably get canned for this little display though. I've had DirecTV for years now and never regreted leaving cable.
I switched to Verizon when it came over. I've been pretty satisfied, I've called in 3 or 4 times and have never waited more than 5 minutes to talk to someone.
Directv gave me this premium card, a special number to call for service, its actually really good. they give me refunds and always come through for me. the problem is, the idiots they use as installers in my area...THEY ARE GARBAGE! they're an independent company, so it isnt DTV really, but they reflect terribly on them. whereas, comcast themselves come to your house. and In-Flames, i think you can get directv as a part of that verizon triple play...just an fyi.
That's exactly the problem I have with Direct TV. Their customer service is actually pretty good. But when you need to have in home service and the contracted tards come out, it's a nightmare. One guy actually tracked mud through our entire house. Another guy knocked out our satellite signal to ever TV in the house. We had to wait for two days for someone to come out and fix it.
