I was the most grateful fan in the world when the man to my left accepted the position...I knew with every once of aqua blood i have, that he is the mastermind of our generation, and that he would turn this culture and team around exactly as he has done.. I believe and have said before many times, He was the perfect man for the job, because he understands what type of player it will take to change a culture that was definitely on a downward spiral..Its gonna take certain type players to come together and win a championship in this town, iam confident he understands this and has the ability to identify. I also think he, and his protege's, are building the team he has always wanted to build {mentally and physically}, but never had the reigns.
Completely agree, Dj. The day he was signed with us was probably my favorite day as a Phin fan. If I am not mistaken, he was with the Falcons when Wayne called him up and convinced him to join the Dolphins. Correct?
yeah bro, mine too, i knew what it meant for the future of our franchise from top to bottom... i was glued to espn news for like 2 days..i couldnt believe it, always had mad respect for the man, but could never envision him leading our organization. Just envied him from a far when he was leading the dominant giants in the 80's and early nineties. Its the identity of toughness that is being instilled here that iam so happy about... and i will always be grateful to MR. H for not taking no for an answer. the man has always tried to do whats best for our team.
