He just made this bold prediction just now on ESPN.. Quote: "It wont even be close! Jets 24-10" Here's is to watching big ol' Golic eat a huge heaping of crow come sunday..
I think he picked Miami to finish 3-13 this season on Mike and Mike so his prediction isn't a shocker.
pfffft....I want all "talking heads" to predict a loss for us each week...stay off the bandwagon, dont want you right now.
Golic has always been a useless tool. Anyone that actually cares about anything he says should have their heads examined.
Same here and honestly I can't blame any of these guys for doubting the Dolphins. I mean we were horrid last year and this is a team with lots of question marks.
HAHA A roster with as many new players as the Phins have, its a stab in the dark how they will perform this season. But I still don't see how some one can feel so strongly one way or another about the week 1 game. Both new qb's to their teams, yeah like he can be so sure. I hope he's eating crow monday morning.
We just have to put it down on the field. Only then will the Phins get respect. Then you'll see how fast everyone flip flops a la 2006 Saints.
these guys dont know what the hell they're predicting. they got 1-15 in 07'. not an ounce more. never have i cared so little or given such little credence to the experts picks as this season. they've never been this in the dark before.
Golic is entitled to his opinion...He sees the same things we all see, this team has questions all up and down the roster..that said, I think we may surprise one or two teams this year, but 24-10 isn't that bad of a prediction...the question will be, even if we lose the game by this score, how well do we play...that will be the sign of whether we are improving or not...
Anywhere but here 24-10 would not be an outlandish prediction. Still, this is Jets-Dolphins and aside from last years 41-13 triumph, the last three or four games before that I believe have been settled by a touchdown or less. Something like that. I'm too lazy to look it up. Still, I'm going 24-16, Jets myself.
The Dolphins are running a different scheme with nearly all new personnel. Coming off a season where they were 1-15 how can they compete in week 1. They will do more than compete, they will match their win total from 2007 when this game is over and Brett Favre’s debut goes up in flames.
This post is so awesome that it deserves a Marino TD[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HFbhoK2239o]YouTube - Marino TD vs KC 1994 Playoffs[/ame].
