Wheeler - obvious reason; Pouncey and Garner - Pouncey for the personal foul and possibly both Pouncey and Garner for the safety. Heard mixed opinions on who was supposed to get David. The running game was the goat; hard to say if it was execution or coaching or both (Sherman). Thigpen for catching the ball on the 5 there at the end. Special teams blocking most of the night. Wallace for just being Wallace. Did I leave any goats out?

Wheeler- Missed tackles and nearly a game ending late hit on the QB that turned field position and made it a one possession game when we got the ball back.

I would say Thigpen for boneheaded returns and a fair catch at the 5 yard line.

Fairness to Thigpen, he did have the long return, and we do not know if he was told to catch the ball after the one he let bounce wound up at the 3 yd line.

John Jerry...c'mon man, a punch block on McCoy on 3rd and 18? What did you think would happen?!?!

    Phillip Wheeler..punch yo self

    Soliai..dude, you were man handled

Clay..dude...you have to make plays...not drops...

Egnew muffed a block on the Safety

Sherman...a sweep in the EZ with a leaky offensive line...brilliant..ball on the 9, 3 downs...wth was that?!?!

Philbin..brother, you need to shake up your offensive line..we all can see it, nothing to do with the film

Rizzi...your unit is getting it's butt kicked...

    1. Soliai.
    2. Starks.
    3. Odrick.
    4. whoever else plays DT.
    5. Ellerbe
    6. Wheeler
    7. (And this hurts..) Wake

The entire front 7 really. Just garbage. Did nothing all game. got gashed continously. Ran right up the middle all day. We lost this game because they ran it right down our throats and we couldn't run it at all. basic football.

    Soliai and Starks...contract years. Pfft.

I noticed Egnew got a little verbal chewing after the safety. Rizzi's units had their moments good and bad. The defense in general was handled by a weakened unit tonight. No excuse. Jerry looked pathetic. Ireland needs to stay out of Ole Miss. Poor contributions by Wallace and Jerry.

I'm more upset with our run defense than I am our run offense.

This. I don't know what the hell has happened to our run defense this year but it's become a liability.

Grimes played pretty well. Made a couple of mistakes. Matthews had a great game. Tannehill played well in streaks.

Those 2 dumb personal fouls [Pouncey & Wheeler] cost us 2 possessions, so I'd say they were pretty big. The Wheeler one cost us 29 yards of field position and 3 minutes off the clock, so we could've easily had another shot for a FG w/o having to rush either drive.

B/c we are designed to be better at passrushing then run stuffing.

I thought Wallace made a poor attempt at the ealry bomb he caught out of bounds (I believe he could have made a much better effort) and the alligator arms coming out of the slot. Not so much goat worthy but no one is talking about it.

No fairness to Thigpen, I am utterly, utterly sick of his incompetence of when to field the ball and when to let it bounce. The guys does more bad than good.

Just about everyone was a goat save for Matthews, Grimes and possibly Tannehill.

QB - Tannehill had a good game but missed a wide open Wallace for an easy score.
RB's - had 0, yes ****ing zero yards on 13 carries.
WR - Matthews had a great game, Hartline was Hartline and Wallace is a waste of space. I don't care if he was used as a decoy most of the night at least put some ****ing effort into blocking and making a play when the ball is in the air.
TE - Clay with more drops and Egnew getting chewed out on the sideline for missing a block. At least he caught a pass.
    OL - Seriously? nuff said.
DL - got it's *** kicked. Could have driven a bus through some of those holes against the supposed strength of the team.
LB's - got their *** kicked and gave up stupid penalties. Wheeler can leave anytime he wants. Trusnik? WTF man. I can see why people in Baltimore burst out laughing when they found out the contract we had given to Ellerbe.
DB's - Overall I don't think they were a problem, Grimes gets called for yet another bull**** PI, Carroll had his usual mental lapses, Jones had to make a lot of tackles since the guys in front where getting their asses kicked and Clemons displayed his hands of stone. Patterson is made of glass. Jimmy made a play and Sherman calls the worse series you will ever see.

Special Teams - Once again were "special". I loved seeing Stanford getting levelled, made up for his bonehead running out of bounds penalty.

    Sherman - please GTFO.
    Coyle - please follow Sherman.

I'm so sick of this team, I'm done caring about them.

The run defense cost us this game. Particularly on the first drive, which set the tone, imo. You know Tampa has a crap one-dimensional offense, and you let a backup 6th-round rookie gash you right down the field to start the game. We needed to come out hot and stop this winless team from the get-go on their home field, and the front 7 got manhandled.

Don't worry, they only need time to gel.

Hear that every pre-season and then by Week 8 it's "this OL is garbage".

Just how bad is Dallas Thomas btw?

Let a punt that should be fair caught bounce. Catch a punt that he should have let go. Bring out a kickoff from 9 yards deep and do nothing. He really bugs me.
Amen. Sad. Almost like no pride.
He is embarassing. That and other efforts were pathetic.

Think about it, entire draft class, the only 2 guys who play are Don Jones and Sturgis.

Not sure wth Philbin and Co are seeing, it's fairly clear they will not make changes..period.
