In some ways, Ted Ginn Jr. became a symbol of what went wrong with the Miami Dolphins in 2007. And it wasn't even his fault. http://www.floridatoday.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080802/SPORTS/808020320/1002/SPORTS
Ginn is progressing nicely. From all accounts is a much better WR now then he was at anytime last year. Things are slowing down, while he is speeding up. If we can get a QB to play steady, and a running game that produces early and ofter, Ginn could have a pretty solid, if not excellent year.
Yea bro I agree. Ted Ginn Jr has put in a lot of work this offseason to make himself better. He is better on route running to. Witch will pay of this year alot and make him and the ab's timeing a lot better. We also have a better special teams unit that will help him alot. But I hope we keep him on special teams.
Agree, I really hope we keep him returning kickoffs. Punts would be nice but I really think KO return will be where he will have the biggest impact. A more disciplined, more effective special teams unit, IMO, will see big dividends this year with Ginn back there.
Really excited about this news! I think he can be a very good wr in this league. He needs to return kicks tho. The guy is a threat back there
Now I do feel a little bit silly with my thread from last nite. I'm sorry CNC and Infinsible, please forgive me. I just got a little depressed. I need football to be back, really, really bad...it will leave me less time to think and get depressed
I dont know he is probably going to be expected to step up big this year in both the reciving game and return game. I think 10 reciving touchdowns. that is right I said 10. I also think sense the specialteams is so much improved I think 5 punt and kickoff touchdowns.
thanks for posting that. i dig nat moore, and i'm gonna go ahead and listen to his comment about "time to learn the game." it's exciting to think about what ginn will be able to do once he does catch up, because he has some freakish physical abilities. in addition, his bowl game record is pretty impressive. the man shows up for big games. here are some links to articles: alamo bowl, fiesta bowl and you all know what happened against florida. the one play ginn participated in was exceptional. i'm not quite sure what happened after that
Ginn will be key for us to keep opposing D's from stacking 8 in the box to stop our power running game. High hopes for this kid, now, who's going to throw him the ball?
Ginn will continue to get better and better, and he's not even close to his ceiling yet. He'll be great everntually, IMO.
