So far it’s not looking good. Need the teams to pick up the pace. Giants are a very plodding offense at times, they keep calling rush plays but only gain a couple of yards. Ugh.
yeah, it isn't looking good so far. Jackson dropping passes isn't either for the Eagles. man, Samuel can still hit & can catch too.
The good thing about the NFL is that it’s the opposite of college: teams tend to score more points in the second half rather than the first half. I think the Giants come away from this drive with points and the game starts exploding in the 2nd half. 28-21 Eagles victory is all I’m looking for.
Just when I tell myself they need to keep on throwing it to Maclin, he drops the pass for either a TD or at the 1yd line.
Halftime adjustments should clear things up. I expect the Giants at least to improve. The Eagles WRs need to settle down.
Good news for you is that Henning isn't calling the game for either team, so you still have a good chance. Man, hope Hobbs is ok. The refs missed the helmet to helmet on the Giants there. Penalties should of offset.
How do they not even mention the helmet to helmet on hobbs when they made such a big fuss over samuels
Defenseless being defined as someone without control of the ball, not in motion, without eyes upfield. The Austin Collie hit from a couple of weeks ago was legal because he wasn’t defenseless.
You’ll want to catch my ninja edit there. I got my phrasing reversed. :lol The NFL has a good definition of who is and is not defenseless.
Are we talking about the same Collie hit from two weeks ago against the Eagles? That one wasn’t penalized, IIRC.
I thought helmet to helmet is like PPF mentioned & I seen your comment after I hit post. Good point in bringing up Collie. I forgot about him.
Back to the game. Vick got popped in the side a little bit on that scramble. He’s getting knocked around somewhat. The Giants D is really physical. I like our defensive line, but I watch these guys play and get more than a little jealous. Crossing my fingers for 7 points from this drive.
Why do teams still call lateral passes in man coverage? It’s like pissing away a down. 3rd & 11. Need a touchdown here. Edit: field goal. Dan Henning popped a woody.
Guess, Henning did leave his mark around the league. hahaha these FGs isn't helping your cause, Desides.
Not looking good for you but maybe that fumble & TD by the Giants starts a scoring fest by both teams.
Herremans is such a terrible offensive lineman. He’s costing Philly this game with penalties. He didn’t even chop block the right defender!
Wow, LeSean McCoy. I’d love to have that speed on this team. Too bad he doesn’t fit the front office’s completely arbitrary physical size requirements for the position.
Wow, you might be in luck with the Eagles scoring a TD there, Desides. Just need the Giants to score a TD now. EDIT: nevermind you will end up 1 pt short.
