    Giants get it, no need to spend a ridiculous amount of money on any LT....just need an avg one....

    if you have a good QB, an avg LT will give said QB enough time to throw the ball....

    Except Beatty isn't average. He was a high 2nd round pick and has played great.

    Where someone was picked doesn't mean anything see Robert Gallery......and this year he played good sure...

    He was pick 60 overall, so a low 2nd. I agree he is definitely a fine LT (as long as he can stay healthy).

    If Beatty's deal sets any sort of bar, then I'd guess a fair deal for Long would be about 5 yrs/45 mil, 25 mil guaranteed.

    Not at first, he struggled, in fact imo Martin outplayed Beatty as a rookie.
