The SEC is having a down year, that's why Florida is surging. They've yet to really be challenged liked the Big 12 teams. It may be top heavy, but @ the top are three legitimate challengers for the national title (or at least two...). The worst team in the Big 12, Baylor, may not pose a threat for the worst team in the SEC, Kentucky, but don't think based on that any team in the SEC could survive in the Big 12 South What's the signature win of the two SEC players, Alabama and Florida? Georgia? LSU? Both aren't exactly lighting up the league. What's Texas signature win? OKLAHOMA (potentially the best, most talented team in the country)! I personally don't want to see Urban Meyer @ Notre Dame for the sake of Notre Dame. Hdouchee's a major . I won't miss him in the FLA recruiting wars though.
After LSU and Georgia's performance's this week, it all but kills ANY dispute on the top conference in CFB. Ofcourse the homers will try and dispute that but honestly it is reality.
What conference is that? The Big 12 is the best conference this year. The SEC is in a down year in terms of quality really only 2 top tier teams with 2 middle of the road teams.
The SEC is still toughest conference in the country. From top to bottom. Just because some of the big name schools have had less than stellar years does not mean they have horrible other teams. However we will all see in Bowl season
Bro who else is good in the conference besides Bama, and Florida? I can't believe Georgia lost to Tech. The SEC is in a down year no matter how you look at it.
Ole Miss has caught stride and they look great. They also came very close to winning v.s. Bama. There losses all came early in the year. SEC bottom teams are still pretty goood.
Ole Miss is a nice surprise but overall the conference was middle of the road. SEC should be back on top next year.
