Hill is better than Stafford, who should be back from Yet Another Shoulder Injury by the time we play them.
I diisagree. but if staffords shoulder turns into Carson palmers shoulder, maybe....ive heard its bad.
Troy Aikman is just foolish sometimes. On the Crosby 53 yard miss off the uprights to win: "Well that was a pretty good kick, other than the fact that it didn't go through. Crosby got a good leg on it. You know Crosby probably actually feels pretty good about that kick." ... really Troy? He just missed a winning FG off the upright!!! how could he feel GOOD?!?!
Hill outplayed Smith in San Fran and he’s outplaying Stafford now in Detroit. I don’t know how anyone can think Stafford is better. Mike Williams with a 20 yard TD in Cincy to go to tie things up at 21. Caught it over two Bengals defenders. Cincy needs to pull this one out. 54 seconds left in regulation.
cincy about to lose at home against the bucs after crucial palmer int....somebody's heads gotta roll..lol 2 players 3 reality shows...how do you train in your craft when you are doing that.....your not..
Bucs kick the field goal, 5 seconds left in regulation. Looks like they’re going to win 24-21. This is why I should never put money on the Bengals. Such an overrated farce of a team.
did you guys watch any other part of the game than OT? the redskins had those calls coming, karma-wise. there were a couple flagrant PI's on Woodson and others earlier in the game that went uncalled.
Well, the pack is struggling, as are the Bengals, the Ravens and Steelers however are both playing well. But TN is destroying the Cowpokes, my goodness is this a whipping so far.
Well, the way I see it our ST is bad, their's is just terrible. I wonder if Bono and SD's Steve Crosby use the same blocking scheme on kicks and punts and the NFL has it figured out?
Who are they going to go to, Jordan Palmer? Yeah, right. The Chargers use special teams as a developmental player stash just like we do. That’s the problem.
Hey Deside's..you know Iam on the record that Jerry Jones made a colossal mistake in building of that stadium....The fan connection is gone in that mortuary...huge void, as bad as our's, teams love playing there.
The leadership that tony romo displays is a joke, hes a poser, and ive said many times, hes completely out of shape...horrible work out and nutrition ethic.
No, that is the cost of doing business, we can develop players, or we can watch the patriots use multiple picks every year. It is on Rizzi to coach them into something, to motivate them, that is his job.
Our stadium is not bad. We could use seats closer to the field, but it’s not bad. But the North Texas Football Cathedral and Mausoleum is horrible. I think they’re piping in crowd noise, honestly. No, it’s not the cost of doing business. A lot of the guys we have on STs have never played them before at any level. You can’t immediately coach a guy to not suck on special teams in the NFL. It’s the ultimate late start. There is nothing wrong with reserving a couple of roster spots solely for special teams players.
So you’re saying that our current special teamers all have many years of experience at their craft? The last two months of football would disagree with you.
No "so" to it, one said "have not played ST on any level" I asked you who that would be, exactly. What bothers me is, one repeated the same crap OmarK, Mike B, and Volin said, and it simply is not true.
I am the last person on the planet who would blindly repeat anything Kelly or Berardino says. Volin has earned my trust to an extent.
Plain fact is Des, it was not Wallace/Spitler/Carrol who failed, ST Vets like Hilliard, Carpenter, Walden and Dobbins who failed, the only potential newbie who may have messed up was Lydon Murtha, and I'm not sure if he played ST last season Omark, Volin, they have been the ones pushing this idea that "churning the roster caused the breakdowns" and that is utter bull****, most of the churned players never see the field.
Where did I say that the problem was roster churn? Again, I don’t listen to Kelly or Berardino. Volin hasn’t talked much about the roster churn, or if he has, I’ve ignored it.
