But according to others it is NOW just Knicks fans who a have lost faith in LeBron? This is getting strange.

No. It is the fans of every team that considers themselves a contender or future contender adn sees the Heat as the main obstacle for the next few years.

    SO I have it at:

Knicks, Bulls, Celtics, Lakers, ..well..you get the picture.

More than a few occasions, Lebron and Wade has had ROAD crowds ooohhhhing and awwwing...including these last two road playoff games.

So I would say that it is down to the hardcore contenders now...AND the Knick fans.

Lebron was just a warm and fuzzy character when he was with loveable loser Cleveland. he was no threat.

ALl I have to say is this...

Wade is BELOVED..and he takes plays...QUARTERS..off. he only really plays defense when he wants to (Or when another superstar is in town).

LBJ plays HARD as HELL ALL GAME.....ALL THE TIME. He brings it, every night.

    Sorry..I respect that.

What point are you proving? That you have no idea what his level of popularity is now?

Memphis needs to take a page out of Golden State’s playbook from a couple of years ago and start printing up the “WE BELIEVE” t-shirts.

I think most people respect Lebron's game, I just dont think they respect how he handled "The Decision". Thats not just Knicks and Bulls fans, thats fans of other teams as well. Lebron is an elite player. Ill just be happy with my consolation prizes, Melo and Amar'e and hope we can build a better team around them then the Heat have built around Bosh/LBJ/Wade

Im not sure the lovable loser is acurate....I mean the Cavs had the best team by record in the NBA last year and made deep runs into the playoffs on more than one occasion.

Now he went to a team with a top 5 record in the NBA who wont make it out of the 1st round until late tonight, he has won NOTHING more than he did in Cleveland?

    LOL.

    Not top 5. 3rd best.

Hasn't won anything? He has not had the opportunity to YET. Jeez.

Why not gloat about him not winning 5 championships in Miami?

Cleveland was considered flawed and destined to be bounced. So he was no threat. = loveable loser.

Lebron will never be the darling he once was besides to Heat fans...that's how the media and life works for star athletes. So get used to it.

And my point was he can't be called a lovable loser when he accomplished more last year than he has "so far" with Miami.

Sounds like u think people are also disliking him because he is now a winner. Wich at this point makes zero sense.

Well the Bulls are the #1 seed so not sure they are all that upset..

Knicks had Amare anyway and added Carmelo, Lebron IS better than Carmelo but its not like its a huge difference.

"IT" is the decision. It's the only thing I ever held against Lebron at any point of time, but as I said I've been over "IT" since January.

Beyond that I think the same of him as a player, maybe more.

That have a inferiority complex that is only going to get bigger when they fall flat on their faces with their one man show.

    more proof Fin-O...

D-Wade has been beloved by many, and used to get cheered in Chicago.

Since He got his running partner...HATE!!!!! VITRIOL!

It's quit humorous. While he was harmless carrying around Que Richardson and Michael Beasley, he was fine..as soon as he is a threat to their teams......well, you know.

I would say the Chicago faithful now see him as a guy who teased their organization this past off-season, as opposed to just a guy playing alongside James on another team.

Toney Douglas IS a solid basketball player...he just had a playoff series where he played like a high school freshman on the JV team against the seniors on the real team. He will be fine long term in my opinion.

Some people hold grudges, some dont. I dont hold grudges but I also wont go out of my way to cheer for a player that passes up playing for one of my teams to play for a rival team. I dont want him to break a leg. I just want him to lose. Over and over again. :)

That has to be one of the worst 60 win teams ever. Their wing players are frankly brutal and Boozer has been playing dumb as a rock. Its like everything Jerry Sloan taught him went in one ear and out the other. I do like Tom Thibideau though. I wanted the Knicks to hire him over Coach D'Fenseless. He was excellent as an assistant years ago on the knicks staff so Im happy to see him doing something with his shot

    The dirty little secret.

Derrick Rose is a selfish prick that didn't want anybody to shine over him.

AND THERE is PROOF on file at a court room in Chicago.

I did. His jersey sales are now number 1. You want to pretend that people buy the jerseys of disliked players or that the sales only occurred in Miami, but that simply isn't so. The fact that he changed teams obviously had an impact on those sale numbers, but to claim he isn't currently one of the most popular players is insane.

He didn't tease their team. His custody situation at the time leaves no doubt that he considered them. He's just a guy who turned them down. And it's human nature for people to hate those who reject them. Most get over it in time, assuming they have some maturity of course. But it's obviously easier for those who weren't among the rejected (Heat fans and any fan not among the handful of teams that thought they had a shot) to not carry on the hate. For most fans, LBJ handled it poorly but ultimately didn't do anything wrong. And the LBJ's and Wade's jersey reflect that. But for those groups in the rejected cities, the hate continues and they can't see that the rest of the world has moved on. In their minds LBJ and Wade are hated for whatever justification they want to use, but really it's just the fact that they were rejected.

They NEVER offered him a contract according to court documents. Bulls front office personnel testified that they were going to offer a contract, but PULLED their offer. (insert theory as to why here)

Kobe was second. That shows that both players are polarizing and that those "most hated rankings" just measure people who elicit strong responses but not overall popularity.

The two most likely theories would seem to be either that Rose didn't want him there or the team knew Wade would turn them down (or had told them he would).

    More of a poll....

I believe Tiger is leading the way with Vick, Big Ben, Kobe, and LeFraud in the talks.

But hey Tiger leads the universe in apparel sales, Vick I believe was 2nd in jersey sales so this list must be filled with biast jaded fans.

Funny how in the case of four of the five mentioned, the Law was involved. And I don't know about Big Ben Tiger, or Kobe, but the only butthurt LeBron caused was to Cleveland's collective psyche.

I think it's time to get over it.

One guy fights dogs and runs a gambling ring, the other *** rapes a concierge, another one bangs every porn star in the US while slamming his car into a tree, and the last one enjoys casual rape in sport bar bathrooms.

and then we have a guy signing with a team as a free agent.

    Just LOL.

You guys all keep using this "get over it" analogy, LOL...get over what!?

Maybe if the reason I didnt like Lefraud was because he didnt choose the Knicks then I wouldve got OVER IT the minute we traded for Carmelo.

But since the reason I dont care for him is because of his personality, and his phonyness then their really is nothing to get over?

    Ya'll be some weird mofo's.

    more projection.

Hint: it is weird when you create reasons out of thin air to continue a narrative. it is not weird to defend somebody being attacked over nothing.

Serious question: Is there a MORE model sports celebrity athlete on the planet than Lebron James? Hard to find one.

    A) incredible business entity. (makes over 100 million a year)
    B) gives millions to charity each year.
    C) creates children's charities year round and donates his time to them.
    D) Plays HARDER than just about ANYBODY in the NBA.
    E) has an unselfish playing style.
    F) talks to the media daily.
