Kiffin will have to wear a flak jacket whenever they play at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville. Bails on the Vols and then comes back to the SEC as a coach for one of their rival teams.
It's very impressive that they did win 24 in a row. However you also have to look at the schedule and the fact they never won any titles/championships.
It's an internal award?? Not sure why any non Buckeyes care. And obviously year 1 they weren't eligible for anything. Buckeye haters gonna haters Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk
Yeah but as a Miami fan I'd kill to win 24 in a row under the sane circumstances. The school has a long history so its a pretty cool thing. I'm over the OSU-Miami thing so since all the guys here who like OSU are pretty cool, I guess they can be my #2 team off topic
Well it would be great for any school to go 24-0 it would be nice. But again not to win any titles or big bowl games is very disappointing. One year they didn't have the opportunity and this year they just blew it.
I never said it bothered me. I was just passing along news that I thought people may wanna know and giving my opinion.
Everyone should read this http://www.al.com/sports/index.ssf/2014/02/did_florida_am_pull_offer_from.html
Wow, pretty classless. Why would an Alabama newspaper run this story though? I did not see it on FL papers!? Really wonder how often this kind of thing happens. I bet more than any of us want to know.
There are a lot of teams that drop players for various reasons (Grades, New coaches, injury, legal, and etc). However when coaches drop you or don't give you a scholarship they usually give you more than 24 notice before signing day.
The Florida Gators are a fantastic program top to bottom filled with outstanding young men on and off the field. Gator fans were right, you ARE a national powerhouse and a top 3 program in all of CFB. All the Ohio State bashing you guys did on and off the field is ok with me (and it sure was with the mods) Far be it from me to take any playful shots at your program or all your intelligent and UNBIASED fans. Here is to you guys building on another fine recruiting class and restoring what was once a dominant program. Regards, Fin-Omenal.
Welll... is Kenny Hill going to be a first round draft pick too? He just completely slaughtered Johnny's record in his first start. Seems like Texas A&M can plug in anyone to run that offense.
By the way the "SEC" network is so unnecessary and ridiculous, we all know it's been ESECPN for years now. I mean the channel is free for those that have a package better than basic cable but for those that can't afford more than the basic package is going to be missing a lot of good games that would have been played on the regular ESPN channel last season.
Been watching Virginia vs UCLA and Ohio State vs Navy... Ohio State will likely settle down in the second half but Navy sees blood.... UCLA has been getting tested and the game would be closer if it wasn't for that fumble.
UCF v PSU was a great game for an opening week contest. Thankfully the Nittany Lions pulled it out. Too bad they're in for a loss next week.
Woow really bad unsportsmanlike conduct penalty on WVU. Basically the Alabama QB ran OOB and jumped into a kid on the sidelines who put his arms up to defend himself from being run over. Saved Alabama and turned a punt into what could be a TD drive.
todd gurley is creating havoc , they gave him the ball only 5 times in the first half and he scored on a return Sent from my iPhone 5 using Tapatalk
Yeah Gordon is clearly the top running back in the country, the guy's legs and overall body is built like Adrian Peterson... I do like Gurley though and he had a monster game today but can't trust him to stay healthy in a college game let alone an NFL game... Makes me wonder if he's Darren McFadden at the NFL level.....
