Hottest player out there these days could be TCU QB Andy Dalton who appears to have moved into the second tier mix at the position along with Mallett, Washington’s Jake Locker, and Christian Ponder of Florida State. And while it still may be a reach that Dalton is ultimately taken in this year’s opening round, it does appear he may at least have become part of the discussion… In fact, with so many teams in need of help at QB, there is a growing buzz around the league that there could be a real run on QBs in the latter part of this year’s opening round with as many as a half dozen taken overall in the first round.
