    Well away from here
We could do better than that.

Yeah, less than inspiring. I like the Sean Porter pick, the rest of it not so much.

I wish we'd at least be taking Logan Ryan instead of Logan Riley.

DougieFresh gonna like that Eifert is going before Ertz. First mock draft I've seen lately with that.

Just a matter of time before you come over to the dark side..Eifert is the most important offensive player for the Miami dolphins in this draft imo.

They have my three favorite defensive players right in a row, Sheldon, Dion, Ziggy..

Tell you right now..dream time but yet very doable, move back into the late first.

    Sheldon Richardson

    Tyler Eifert

Exactly, not adverse to the Allen pick, but otherwise Porter stands out for me

I doubt it's doable. Sheldon is going top 15.

That 2nd round makes absolutely no sense to me. Not only are we upgrading FS (why, with all our holes?) and doing it with a prospect who is rated much lower than the guy 3 picks later?

Or, IMO the one 9 picks later. Thomas, along with Rambo, are the best ball hawks of this safety class.
It all points though to the futility of making an accurate mock draft before free agency.

Not impressed by this mock. Banks that late? He must have had a ****ty mock combine.

Don't like that I keep seeing Tavon Austin to NE.

Yeah I am not impressed with that mock. Doubling up on LBs in round 3 with our needs doesn't make sense.

If we let Long walk then I think they'd have to seriously consider Lane Johnson at 12. Then I am looking at TEs and WRs in round two

So how will you guys like us taking Keenan Allen, which is the consensus on many mock drafts?

He is a very good player and would address probably the weakest position on the team, so I could not really oppose it. He seems to me to be exactly the sort of player that Ireland would draft. He wants his 1st rounders to be ready to start full time from day 1 and everyone since 2008 has done so. It seems to be the consensus that Allen is the most NFL ready WR in this draft.
Just like with most mock drafts that predicted Pouncey and Tannehill because in the time leading up to those drafts they looked like the most obvious choices and lo and behold that is what Ireland did. I see Allen in much the same light, but of course free agency could completely alter that course. In January/February 2008, I was predicting Chris Long, but then when you saw how free agency played out, with the OL being completely ignored, the stars realigned and everything pointed to Jake Long.

It would be under utilizing the value of a #12 pick, especially with so many good second round receivers available.

Take Sheldon at 12, move up to the late first to get Eifert if he's there.

These mock drafts are ridiculous right now. So many players flopping up and down... There really is little consensus among anyone in the mock draft community. Matt Barkley's draft position is hilarious to watch from one mock to the next.

As for our draft, hate it. At least insofar as what it could be, assuming the board feel exactly like the mock shows.
