I bet if he had his pick, it would be Minnesota.

I was listing to Jim Rome on the radio earlier today and he said it was nothing serious also.

If only Tampa had some QB's, maybe they could find a replacement. Oh wait...

    I hope you don't mean that,bro...
With the last "3" years in a row Brett retiring and hearing about it over and over and over again. You sure you want to hear about it ever single day in the local papers,tv,etc. down here?
That would definately kill my football season as a whole if that happens.:pity:

I think Favre to TB is really interesting. They have Ernest Graham at RB who isn't spectacular but he's a pretty good player. Their receivers aren't the greatest but Galloway is always there it seems and the news is that Clayton is doing well in camp or at least what I heard. They have a very good defense. With Favre there, they could make some noise in the playoffs. That said, there was talk that this past Saturday, the two teams were close to a deal but nothing happened. On Sunday, they continued talks and it seems to have fallen through as the Packers are trying to pay Favre to sit at home and there has been no news regarding the possible trade since. Garcia has been somewhat of a pain this off-season as he threatened to holdout for a new deal. Now he's injured. If they were to acquire Favre, Garcia would be on the outs imo.

well, Garcia isn't as injured as first thought (I heard he was carted off the field). So, the Packers will have to wait... seems to me like Favre only wants to go to Minnesota and is refusing to negotiate with any other club on a new contract. Sadly, I've lost most of the respect I had for #4.

You are right about Gruden's terminology. It is complex.
I personally feel that he has a problem with all quarterbacks he's had in Tampa. When will he ever find the right one is what I'm saying. He does'nt show loyalty IMO.
Brian Griese was supposed to be the man,and he cut him(or trade?)Then he brings him back.
Brad Johnson won him a Superbowl, then he cut's him.
The Simms kid was going to be the man, until the spleen busted(while playing no less)Will never get his job back and there was controversy there as everyone knows.
Bruce Gradkowski. The greatest thing since Dan they were saying during those pre-season games.Where is he now??
Jake Plummer is the smartest of them all.Noone really knows why he did'nt want to play for Tampa.I'll guess it has something to do with Gruden and how he treats the QB's.
Jeff Garcia gets them to the playoffs and is the only one to make the Pro-Bowl.He asked for more money and they tell him No?
That's the reason why he showed up later than usual for TC.

I'm not sure if Tampa will be the best place for Farve. How will he get along with Gruden(and vice-versa) if something goes wrong. Will he have a hard time picking up the Off. at 1st? Yes
If Gruden is'nt happy with his performance. What is Chucky going to do?
That one I want to see.
